What are you listening to right now?

I have never before heard of Sweet Tooth, but they sound like just about everything I’d imagine from the name.

I’m currently watching video of the last show I was at. My homies are in this weird progressive technical deathcore band and I went to their first performance. The pit went NUTS and there is video of the bassist’s brother almost ending my life with a kick to the head.

Good times.

Also, I’m gay for Chris Reed.

Nadja/A Storm of Light: ‘Primitive North’ (Brother remix slays.)

And just a few minutes ago Billy Idol told me it was a nice day for a white wedding.

Akron/Family’s debut.

Nadja/A Storm of Light: ‘Primitive North’ (Brother remix slays.)

Good choice.

Einstuerzende Neubauten - Haus der Luege

This record is fucking RIDICULOUS. Definitely becoming one of my all-time favorites.

Switching a lot between :

Down III - Over The Under
Converge - No Heroes
Swans - White Light From The Mouth Of Infinity
Jesu - Infinity
Gojira - The Way Of All Flesh
Gojira - From Mars To Sirius

Ladytron covering Death In June’s “Little Black Angel”

I see carmangary is getting into Rocky Balboa mode, and prepping for the rockshow.
(Otherwise, Blackouts. History in Reverse)

I keep up running into that Blackouts CD at my local record shop but have yet to pick it up, I’ll have to check it out

As my first foray into record collecting I went down to my local shop and picked up the Blackouts “Lost Souls Club” and “The Nature of Love”. Can’t wait to get the equipment to enjoy these!

Iggy Pop - The Idiot. It’s taken me way too long to discover this album. In tone and style it’s almost a sister record to Bowie’s Low. I adore the sinister synths and offkey vocals he utilizes on these songs.

Onyx - Bacdafucup

Current 93 - Honeysuckle Aeons

Jane’s Addiction - Nothing’s Shocking

on a retarded note, AL , NOT THE JOUGENSENSON, THE GREEN ONE became 65 this week. One of my faves. I ccan’t imagine a better soul singer’ ( saw him twice, with the tossing roses out to the ladies thing.)That’s style.
I grew up listening to Alic Cooper, Al Green and Led Zeppellin. God help me.e

I’m quite alright with your music selection, actually.

I like a lot of old soul and motown. Especially The Four Tops, The Ojays, Curtis Mayfield, James Brown . . .

lyrics which work, work. "I believe that you and me last forever kinks. one of my fave raves and my good friend cynthia’s…

Not so much Al Green, but the other two…

i bar tended on beale street in memphis for four years. there were some days i’d come in from being hung over the night before cringing at the soul and blues bands… but looking back, it was awesome. all of it.
