What albums have you bought recently?

Well, it wasn’t recently, but I highly recommend the most recent Neubauten album, “Alles Wieder Offen.”

The vinyl version is well worth seeking out but the CD is cool too.

Definitely my favourite album in a long time.

Godflesh: “Selfless/Merciless”
TKK: “Confessions of a Knife” (the one with “Do You Fear [The Inferno Express?])”
Prong: “Cleansing,” “Rude Awakening Remixes”
Merzbow: “1930”
Schwein: “Son of Schweinstein”
Nailbomb: Point Blank," “Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide”
Faust: “The Land of Ukko & Rauni”
Mindfunk: “Goddess” single (Found this randomly in my local record store… Crazy.)
Execitive Slacks: “Fire & Ice”

merzbow? i was just at an indie store and me and the owner were talking about him. I was looking for the cd he did with genesis p-orridge and the owner was telling me there was no way in hell he was gonna carry merzbow simple because the guy has at least 100 cds out and he knows he’ll never have the one the customer is looking for.

Oh, MAN… “A Perfect Pain” is some wacky shit. Akita’s migraine-inducing loops are a perfect complement to the spooky voice of the Porridge. “Kreeme Horn” is one of the more disturbing tracks I’ve listened to.

Merzbow’s pretty cool. Granted, half the stuff the guy releases is, simply put, unnecessary noise, but the rest just GOES there.

Today I picked up Acid Bath’s When the Kite String Pops. I try not to spend full price on cds but I wasn’t expecting hastings to have it, so it was justified.

great album too, worth the money!

Yeah and it was a remaster from 2004. Don’t hear any differences, but it makes me feel better on the inside!

Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats

I heard every song on that album a million times but never actually owned the album, so i decided to buy it. Loving Six Six Sixties

That’s the only album I’ve ever sold back because it was too fucked up for me.

Motley Crue - Saints of Los Angeles
Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone

hahah! it definitely has a strong serial killer theme going on. luckily i’m somewhat fascinated with serial killers and i love horror movies.

it doesn’t worry me as much as merle allin does. he collects their art and stays in contact with some in prison. how the hell did the allin family get so fucked up?

Mogwai - Batcat 12"
Jesu - Why are we not perfect EP, Japanese edition

No doubt. [laugh]

Thinking about picking up a Stayte album, seeing as how much I dig the new RevCo.

Get Abandon In The Amber - I actually prefer it to Sex-O. I was listening to it habitually for awhile.
Cognitive Dissonance features the production work of Mr. Paul Barker, so it’s a good one if you want to continue the Ministry connection.

Thanks for the recommendations. Hell, I’ll get both. [cool]
