Brilliant!!

Why of course.

You know last time we spoke, Al & I, he did invite me to come around sometime and drink wine and bs about the old days. He was quite cordial.

I can’t make out the bit I say about “…the little lady”. What’s that about?

I love how Al looks like a homeless guy.
The Voidhead one could have used a fat-chick joke or two.

You say “I must go now as I have to pick some milk up for the little lady”.

Wempathy. when was the last time you spoke with him? I say you should just do it and convince him to admit he was into that stuff.

Again, not far from the truth. Cate is a teetotaler these days although she prefers sweetened black tea to milk.

Uncanny.

It’s been a couple of years now. He’s always been into a lot of different kinds of music so it’s not a stretch to think he was into synth-pop or whatever. At various times I’ve heard him profess his admiration for artists as divergent as Frank Sinatra and DAF or The Outlaws and Soft Cell. So he must have a different reason disliking the early stuff other than musical taste.

I remember someone mentioning how Al is trying to relive his life, through Cover Up as his high school years and the new pop album as his Early Ministry days… I think he could use that as a tag line for his upcoming album… He always seems to like to make fun of himself, but when it comes to the Arista days it’s serious shit.

The main question I’d like to ask him about would be Primental and I Wanted to Tell Her, clearly a few of the songs he was going to release through WaxTrax! but Arista got a hold of them

If I ever need to ask for money (again) I’ll be sure to disguise it as looking for a “bad ass synth solo or two”

I agree. I don’t think I was parodied very well at all. “Grunge music”…? But I am flattered he took the time to do it.
