the only aspect i didn’t much like is the bass, sounds like there’s a weird effect on it. that was pretty damn good! didn’t think the vocals would turn out well, but they did! worked for me. awesome! can’t wait to see the other ones.
I agree about the bass. The effect didn’t didn’t work for it. Other than that, you guys nailed it.

Gonna put some more up this weekend, just been busy with other things. Actually, I want to re-up Cleanse, it doesn’t sound like there’s enough low end in the mix. Hoping to get it all online this holiday weekend…Masterhit and All Day (w/intro) are up next.

It doesn’t sound like there’s enough low end in the bass. The drums, etc sound great, but I think the effect he using sapped the tone, as they often do. Was he using a guitar flanger by any chance? That would do it…

The vocals sounded great, really fucking great. Programming was spot on.
Yeah, he slapped in practice, went to the pick for the performance. No idea why. I’m not thrilled about it. It’s one of many issues with my bandmate. Anyway, I mixed the song on our 24-track with headphones late one night, and after uploading, realized there wasn’t enough punch in the percussion or low end on the bass. Gonna fix that this weekend.
I had a blast playing the songs, but after a few viewings, we needed more practice time. Life got in the way, and I set such a short schedule to begin with… Kinda glad it’s out of the way, I’m fully focused on finishing the Corrugation album now. I do want to go back and record some studio mixes of the Wax Trax songs (including those we didn’t play) after the album’s out.

Holy shit, you think that needs to be cleaned up? that sounds great, your vox sound great. If i didn’t know any better I’d say you stole that song off a record somewhere.

Thanks Gunnar! I wish I had more room to move around there, I was pretty much trapped behind the synth! Jimmy, I saw that Luc posted the video, very cool. He also posted a small comment on YouTube. I posted the clips on the Wax Trax FB page, and that’s where he saw them. I’m hoping to get more of the show done this week.
