We are all going to prison.

Apparently, every single one of us are criminals. This has to one of the most rediculous things I’ve come accross in a very long time.

This sort of absurdity makes me want to get out my torch and pitchfork.

Oh, and the terms of service for this message - if you are reading this, you have violated the terms. I’ll be siccing the AG on your sorry ass.

That’s retarded. Why would I ever put actual personal details on an online profile? I never understood the people that would open up a Facebook account then have their phone#, address, school, place of employment, etc. all made fully available to everyone.

They may as well just photocopy their credit cards and fill out a couple unsigned mortgage applications for everyone while they’re at it.

And has anyone ever tried to deactivate or delete an unneeded FB account? Holy crap! It’s impossible. It’s easier getting rid of Herpes.

Smacks of a diversionary tactic.

Imagine being in a meeting at Facebook? Puke stations.

Hahaha

Old myspace is the same, when I tried to delete that shit. It was impossible so I took down all my pics and replaced them with dick pics… yup my dick pics

But fb does have privacy settings and you can make your info private if you want.

you would think that law would only apply to impersonating actual people.

the way it’s written, I’m sure, needs to be tightened up.

obviously it’s a bad law with good intentions…

by having a handle doesn’t make you a criminal, that’s rupert mandated spin that has now infiltrated the WSJ now that he owns it.

the whole law is “Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.” simply having a handle is not fraud or abuse.

The Wall Street Journal WAS a well respected news organization …

fixed that for ya’

in all seriousness, I know wsj lost much cred when murdoch bought it. especially when the antitrust laws were rewritten in order for him to purchase it.

i know nothing of the guy that wrote that article

but on another note, pbs is right wing??

Since when is the name of particular act indicative of it’s contents? Using your logic, you’d be all in favor of the Patriot Act. I mean who isn’t for patriotism?

lol touché.
good point.

This is the classiest way to delete a social network profile.

[cool]

In regards to your other post, do not associate me with violence - done in jest or not. Protecting your family, home, homeland, and way of life is one thing and absolutely worth fighting for.

understandable, no problem, deleting now.

just for clarification, It was in jest just because of the Michigan connection. But I understand the offense taken.

I’m sorry.

Promoting violence because you don’t agree with policies of the current government is something else altogether.

as Ice always says, “respect”

edit: read some of his blog, for the most part he seems straight up. But he plays partisan games as well. he uses loaded language to make repubs sound good or Dems sound bad.

for example on the single payer health care he writes

“and thus get all the big government Obama wants”

Obama doesn’t want “Big government” he wants to fix the damn mess W created. Obama is not sitting back wringing his hands with a smile saying just wait till it’s everywhere.
.
.
but most righties seem to think that’s his agenda when it’s not. I think that shows more about the person making those claims than it does Obama
.
.

I’ll gladly punch the ever living crap out of any dumbass who disagrees with my political position . . . . as soon as I have one.

I have to disagree about the “big government”. Spending is rampant and both Dems and Repubs have zero self control.

But “big government” is not obamas goal. It would seem that there is no other option right now than to do what is necessary and aside from letting the US become a 3rd world nation the steps obama is taking is not out of the norm.

It’s disappointing to see someone who is obviously smart support an ideology that is so blatantly not. I used to support libertarian ideology in college but the more you look at it the more it sucks. it brings back institutionalized racism, promotes segregation, wages real class warfare on the citizens (not this fake class warfare that repubs call higher taxes) it destroys most of our civil rights. etc…

The role of the government is to provide for the common welfare of its citizens. Libertarian ideology does not do this, libertarian ideology is essentially “every man for himself” which is class suicide considering how lopsided the the economic playing field is right now. (Actually has always been)

Neither party is good for this country, I don’t see that changing regardless of D or R is in power. I would love to be wrong about that.

Saying this doesn’t help. If that’s your stance I come back with 1 is clearly better than the other. So you support the better party until the worse one is extinct and then you hope a better party replaces the extinct one or the current one improves itself.

You say spending is out of control on both sides. I say hog wash. You have to look at the type of spending. Bush spent all our money on candy and toys, obama is spending all of our money (or trying to) on paying the bills that W neglected and rebuilding the country. Which is the smarter investment? Regardless of what the tards on the right tell you, you DO spend your way out of debt, but you have to make wise investments not just blow it on cotton candy and rides at the fair. I see that obama is trying to make the wise investment.
