wow, these are amazing. where did you find them? too bad there’s only one ministry photo.
thanks for sharing!
Post of the year, Rizuan. That was awesome. Brings back some memories.
What is that Connelly/Tucker thing, by the way? Did they release anything as a duo?

Songs for Swinging Junkies, a four song live EP recorded shortly before Tucker passed.
Thanks for the pix Rizuan, you’re a hero!!
- I didn’t know Geddy Lee was in Ajax.
- Is Paul wearing a leather jacket and also holding a jacket over his shoulder? I guess you’ve got to have layers in Chicago.

HAHA!!! Maybe it’s a $5000 trench coat.
Nice pics. Never heard Songs for swingin’ junkies. Never was able to find it. Any of you able to send it my way possibly?
Al was a good looking young guy.
I hope William Borroughs had his wicked way with his fine ass.
Once again we see En Esch with hair. That was the true highlight of the whole thing for me. There were quite a few bands I’ve never heard of. And that hella does look like Geddy Lee in that Ajax pic. That chicks pretty hot too. Any albums to recommend by any of those bands. There’s quite a few I haven’t heard. Of course we all know the obvious bands, KMFDM, and FLA
awesome…thanks. Cool to see the Skatenigs pic.
Yeah, if you guys have never been to http://www.waxtrax-not-subpop.org/main.html, aka the other site I help maintain, you should drop by. All of these are there as are some other promo pics, quite a few interviews, etc. I tend to update it more in the winter when work’s a little less hectic, so I’ll probably even be updating it soon.
And of course, if you have anything to contribute, please let me know. There are some big gaps still yet to be filled.

Cool site, but why is is called waxtrax-not-subpop? Is that a diss on subpop? Cause subpop was a cool record label too!
Regardless, thanks for your work on the site and thanks Rizuan for the pics.

Is there any possible chance of hooking up the set list from PIG’s Wrecked tour?
EDIT: BTW the links for some of the KMFDM albums don’t work
Thanks rizuan, and bisquitodoom these are great. I have not thought about T.G.T. in many years I have that Machine Gun single somethwere. Looking them up I see that this was a project by Brian (Lustmord) Williams and Chris Carter. Cool now I will have to dig it out.
Many of these bands were on the Play It Again Sam portion of the the Wax Trax roster, Click Click is great as of course are The Legendary Pink Dots. I’ve only heard a little of Borghesia but I think they are good. Mussolini Headkick and A Split Second those are some solid early EBM albums.
Controlled Bleeding have a ton of great albums out there, but two of the members in that photo are now deceased. The founder Paul Lemos on the left is a catholic high school teacher.
The other guy in the FLA picture is Michael Balch who was a live member of Revco and played keyboards on Psalm 69. Incidentally he also played on ‘Norine’ the WELT track that morphed into The Fall.
Here is an interview with him:

Looking at that first pic of KMFDM it appears that Manson was once a member

Done.

Assuming you meant the ones on the KMFDM page, they are fixed now. I still haven’t loaded all the pages for some of the TVT stuff, but all the old WAX stuff and most of the later stuff should be fine now.
I think the PIG setlist is out of order unless you have an actual setlist paper from the tour. He generally plays Find It Fuck It Forget It and Hot Hole at the end. And I believe the song Sinsation is actually Serial Killer Thriller bc he does say Sinsation in the chorus. It’s also nice to see Painiac on there.

Yeah, I always just call that song Sinsation, because it’s shorter. But yes, the setlist is correct. They changed it up at a lot of dates (often switching out Secret Skin as an encore instead of Painiac), but it always stayed pretty close to this. I used the setlist from the Portland video bootleg and then compared it to several reviews that are still on the r.m.i. archives through Google. The only place I’ve ever seen a setlist from that tour listed with Hot Hole/FIFIFI at the end is the 12/8/97 Denver bootleg. Problem with that is that Pig dropped off the tour several datys before, so the recording’s compltely bogus. I’ll have to compare, but I’m betting it’s just a reordered audio only version of teh Portland show.

How good is the Portland bootleg? I’d so download. Plus all the fans on the PIG forum would kill to have that footage. There was talk of a bootleg dvd coming out with little bits of footage from the All Hamerican PIG Show '06, the Energy Void show in japan from '99 and all the videos he’s done over the years, including both versions of Shit For Brains
