"Wait"

Opinions?

I hate waiting! I want things now!

I can’t wait anymore.

Not quite “Love Change” but still a lot of silly synthy fun!

i don’t like white lion. never got into them.

very nice. is it a ministry song?

always cool to hear unreleased recordings…thx.

Yep. Same source as the Halloween demo, so this makes it early 1984. Could have easily made it onto one of the Wax Trax 12"s from the time. Supposedly there are several other finished songs from this period that also never saw the light of day. Maybe someday someone will run across copies of them as well.

I actually really liked this one, and i’m not a big fan of pre-twitch Ministry.

I love Ministry stuff from 80-86, so I really enjoyed this song.

I actually got a later P.Funk synth song feel from this one.
How cool would an extended 12" of this track be?

A half dozen more songs from this period? Oh man, I’d love for that to be unearthed.

Thanks Bisquitodoom [:)] This is pretty damn good, and listening right now I am imagining it spinning on a turn table.

Awesome stuff, bisquitodoom, thank you again. I posted this on New Wave Outpost, giving you proper credit, of course. Lots of early-era Ministry fans over there, I’ve noticed. I’m curious to read what they think of this one.

well… awesome!

I wonder if Al is sitting on stuff like this and I See Red and Same Old Madness so he can press “Early Trax II” if he ever needs a little extra cash…

I’d be inclined to think this too.

Rumour has it Al is attending Martin Atkins’ “How to Achieve Spiritual Bliss through Selling” class at the University of Bolloxology.

But I’d rather hear these old Ministry tracks than countless live Pigface albums.

Unbelievable. Thanks Bisquit.

I’m hearing a lot of Minneapolis / Prince influenced sound on “Wait” - very big in 83/84. The bass line reminds me of “Let’s Groove” by Earth, Wind, and Fire.

The keyboards remind me of the thompson twins…in the name of love.

Chart topping stuff if you ask me.

DAMMIT.

A week without internet and THIS happens. And here I am on campus without a flash drive.
