And Misfits are only 91st.[:/] Plus, BÖC should be more like in the 20s not way up at 55.[mad]

[edit]Hmm nobody willing to comment on Ministry getting 62nd place?

Yeah. All things considered they should have come in at number 61.

I mean, at the very least they’re better than Jethro Tull.

Well, kinda.

Those VH1 Top 100 shows are about as relevant as the polls that Blender magazine makes entertainment news with. Their rankings don’t mean anything to me. All it really means is that VH1 had a programming void to fill. Ministry is #62 because half of the tools that made this list probably never heard of them. Screw VH1, their awesomely bad logo, and their awesomely bad shows!

Bah

1002

I was only pointing it out because I was surprised to even see them on the list. I don’t exactly consider Ministry “hard rock” unless you are going by a fairly loose interpretation.

I remember watching this show like 5 years ago. I hope Carmen Elektra has gotten some help learning how to read cue cards since then.

Nothing says hard rock like Pat Benatar and Heart. [laugh]

If I remember right, Al was in the top 5 “25 Bad Ass” countdown or something of the sort.

I always kind of enjoyed Ministry not being a “popular” band. Back in the day, anyone who knew Ministry had instant credit in my book.

same here, I suppose its the same with all good thngs. Its grand when something has a small loyal following but when its becomes too accesible and known it loses its appeal. Though Ministry still aint that bad as regards losing their appeal because they are everywhere.

I think Hard Rock suits (spelling?) Ministry very well.
Industrial - nope
IndustrialMetal - Nope (some say it is some say it’s not)
Pop - nope
Punk - naa… maybe a little bit…
Rock - well… a little bit harder than just rock…
so…
Hard Rock - yupp. That’s it.

And. IN my opinion Ministry is not that big…
people still get my attention if they know about them.
Sure more ppl know of them know from when I started to listen to them… but not that many…

… need food…

not that I constantly watch these shows, but I remember seeing this show one night after a few (OK, a lot of) beers.

I think Al was somewhere around 15-18

don’t ask how I remember this
