Just imagine them on stage, dressed up as the Wizard of Oz, with David Yow running around the venue with a pile of hot steaming shit in one hand, and a mic in the other.
I’m really curious as to why the people who are knocking USSA are asking for more “Flowering Blight” (which I liked, but seriously it was only a :30 sample…) and don’t seem to care for or have heard Pink Anvil.
I really liked that project and I don’t think it got the attention it deserved. I contact Max Brody and he sent me their new album ‘New Years Eve Party’ and some other stuff from StackedRecords.
I sent him a Nursing Home Band CD and even got his feedback on it. Really cool experience and I’ve been meaning to review the Pink Anvil thing on here ever since.
I’m not knocking USSA, they were far better live than the CD tho…
I loved lead into gold, and am hoping for another ‘solo’ album per se. I liked the perfect pair II sample, and I’m hopeful

You have the “new years eve party” album?? is it for sale or do you have a promo copy? is it just Mp3’s wtf? How come he sent you the album when others have contacted him before and he has been sort of aloof?
