Smooth, easy, adult contemporary.
If you’re in the mood for that sort of thing, it’s pretty good. Otherwise… meh.

she’s not my wife… and no we don’t do nothin “bad” we’re pretty much straight edge at this point. BUT that doesn’t mean we frown on those that do, I hope wer’re still cool to hang before the show.
I don’t know if we’re gonna get their super early, now, since I have tix to vegas. BUT we do have dinner reservations so we can get in slightly earlier than everyone else. we want to be at the stage with out having to fight our way to the front …know what I mean vern?

Radiohead? WHERE? Can’t seem to find this anywhere on the web…and they’ve become WAY more interesting since I saw them in '98…also, would really love to see Mono, as I’ve been listening to their new album nearly exclusively for a week, now…

whoa nitzer ebb and chemlab??? they playing anywhere else, like tour-wise? whose on this years lineup for lollapalooza? pelican is neato too, i recently saw isis, butcher, zombi, and some other bands. I really wanna go to this years Family Values Tour, its Deftones, Korn, Stone Sour, and other alternative/rap/whatever bands on the second stage.

radiohead is doing a club tour like tool. Tix for most shows go onsale tomorrow. the shows will sell out in 5 seconds or something stupid like that but i’ve been lucky before. do a search on radiohead at ticketmasters page and you’ll see the dates.

nitzer ebb are touring europe soon, but the only US date i know of is the detroit one. I don’t think chemlab is on tour but i coud be wrong. they are also playing a small club in detroit the night before they play at the festival.

mono is starting their tour in NYC in a few days. check out http://www.age.fm/~sound/mono/e_f_tourdates.html for more info. i saw them last year and they were quite good live.

Lolla is pretty much just indie rock bands now. They aren’t allowed anything heavy really due to the location of the festival. there are 130 bands over 3 days. anyhow i’m going for ween, sonic youth, manu chao, QOTSA and some other bands i can’t remember. they also have people like RHCP and Kanye West. i just like outdoor fests a lot.

I heard lawn seats at this years family values tour are going to be like $10. i thought that was pretty cool of them.

whose on this years lineup for lollapalooza?

The Gilmour cd is a classic. Super mellow, awesome guitar techniques. My favorites are: Where We Start (love this one[cool]), Blue, Take a Breath, On An Island and Castellorizon. If you like his first release, I suggest picking it up.

Queensryche

I really liked Queensryche back in the 80’s and early 90’s. I wish Chris would come back. He’s been playing with alice in chains as a special guest every once in a while.

I’ve seen them during the following tours:
86 open for ozzy
89 open for Metallica
1991, 1995, 2005

The jones beach show in 2005 was surprisingly awesome. There’s video/audio of the show at Jones Beach and it also kicks ass. Geoff’s voice is so fuckin’ head’s on its makes for a great live experience. He really can sing! I also like Scott’s drumming.

They’re going to play both mindcrime live…looking forward to hearing the first mindcrime live again. [tongue]
