Upcoming Ministry interview on SIRIUS

Well, well, Peligro, I see that you’ve found a new victim to accost…

Anyway, seeing that you hail from the land of vegamite sandwiches, where beers flow and men will plunder, what say you about a band known as Severed Heads? Are you a fan? Have you followed the exploits of one Tom Ellard since the early days of Blubberknife or Since The Accident, or perhaps stumbled across their existence via a Nettwerk Records catalogue circa 1990, featuring such titles as Bad Mood Guy, Come Visit The Bigot, or Dead Eyes Opened? Your sense of cynicism and sarcasm very much relates to the style of Severed Heads music. Just figured you were a fan. I know your tastes are varied, but thought maybe their music was up ‘yer’ alley. After all, how can you not dig a song like “Hot With Fleas”? Great band, in my opinion.

New Pailhead…absolutely. It might sound closer to Fugazi or Minor Threat than LORAH leftovers these days, but I don’t think it’s a horrible idea (I wouldn’t expect something ‘Prunetang’ bad from that project). Like I said, a full-length probably needed to be done right after Trait. So, yes, I’m serious.

Severed Heads and Skinny Puppy - apples and oranges.

Any fans of the Sevs should check out Sevcom.com Tom Ellard’s website, it has all sorts of goodies, and you can listen to practically any release of theirs from the past 25 years.

Thanks, I do check Sevcom on a regular basis. Been enjoying their music for a good 20 years now.

Shit I’m old.

Hmm…posts are magically disappearing from this thread.

Cool, I’ve been a fan for about that long as well. Come Visit the Big Bigot was a revelation for me along with SP’s Mind:TPI, 242’s Official Version and of course Twitch. The time period of 1986/87 was just an exciting time for electronic music.

Just saw this on Blabbermouth:

MINISTRY’s Al Jourgensen, Paul Raven, Tommy Victor and John Bechdel will invade the Sirius Satellite Radio studios for an exclusive interview with Hard Attack host Mario tonight (Wednesday, June 28) at 8:00 p.m. EST. Hear Al, Tommy, Raven and John go off on everything from cheap wine to the current administration to their latest ass-kickin’ release “Rio Grande Blood”. Hear tracks from both MINISTRY and Al’s other band REVOLTING COCKS, and thrash out to tunes from PRONG, SLIPKNOT, KILLING JOKE, RIGOR MORTIS and an obscure Al side project. Rebroadcasts: Sunday, July 2 at 3 p.m. ET and Thursday, July 6 at 6 p.m. ET.

So any guesses on what the obscure side project will be? Lard, PTP, Acid Horse, etc? Or something we actually haven’t heard before?

So, did anyone get to hear this? what was the “obscure” side project?

Pffft! Another genius and insightful post from none another than…

WHy don’t you get off of your knees with that little boy! IF that’s your best attempt at humor, damn you SUCK at that too!
