Ministry’s unplugged set was almost entirely covers, except for the one obscure and at the time unreleased Ministry song “Paisley” (which I’ve never heard the unplugged version of).

I think it remains to be seen whether or not Ministry could pull off an unplugged set of classic Ministry material- Thieves, NWO, Just One Fix, etc.

yea new about that one…was wondering about a full show of tunes tho.

Can you pull off differentiating between ‘of’ and ‘have’? Phonetically similar in conversation, annoying to read - online forum or not.

There’s a few Ministry songs that could be deconstructed to play on acoustic instruments in their original arrangements. “Filth Pig” is the first one that springs to mind. Rearrangement is key. I think many of their classics are too reliant on rhythm, riffs and samples to lend themselves to the “unplugged” setting. Y’know, tablas & acoustic guitars & uprights. Al was never Neil Young and Ministry were never about stretching the limits of improvisation.

friend of the devil wasn’t grand.
and for those who get pissed the way i write.

I’ve NEVER had any trouble or even given your writing a second thought, Miguel, and I don’t think anyone else has either. I’m not a spelling or grammar Nazi at all (and I’m actually annoyed by people who are).

I do, however, expect that a post have some sort of means of figuring out what is being said, asked, or referred to. And I THINK Nashtheslash or Decay or whatever his name is today is from America, so knowing how to write or speak a coherent sentence or thought is kind of important.

Yeah, I was actually gonna say I kinda feel bad for busting yearsofdecay’s balls for rarely making a coherent sentence (assuming English is a second language for them). But regardless, not having English as your native language isn’t really an excuse for being a dumbass and constantly making threads with no intention of actually sparking any sort of discussion.
