Just finished season 6 of Portlandia on DVD. One of Fred’s characters wears a Ministry shirt for a scene in the episode “Breaking Up.” It’s not mentioned or relevant to the plot, he just happens to be wearing it.
I liked hearing “Stigmata” during Jackie Chan’s “Rumble In The Bronx.” I think he busts into a party and smashes the stereo before an all-out brawl ensues.
I’ve been watching old Miami Vice episodes on cable late at night when I can’t sleep and Stigmata was in an episode as wel…
A few off the top of my head . . .
The ad for “8 Seconds” (the bull riding movie with Luke Perry) had "Burning Inside"playing in it.
An ad around the same time for a Robocop video game had “Corrosion” in it.
An episode of “Cold Case” where some kids shoot up a mall Columbine style had a really great build up and they used Pailhead’s “No Bunny”.
Pailhead is also listed as one of the influences when Jack Black is trying to put together his band, Sonic Death Monkey in “High Fidelity”.
Dude wears a Ministry shirt in the movie “Doom Generation”.
“Stigmata” in the movie “Hardware”.
Several Ministry tracks from “Rio Grande Blood” used in “The Hurt Locker”.
“Waiting” used in “Murderball” (documentary about paraplegic full contact rugby or something . . . I saw the movie but don’t remember exactly what the sport is).
DSOTS poster in Little Nicky, of which i would kill to have.
Yeah and its funny in Hardware that its Ministry playing but they show GWAR on the screen…always made me chuckle…
I remember seeing a Psalm 69 poster in Return of the Living Dead 3.
Also, those ITT Tech commercials that ripped off Where You At Now?
