I thought about posting this, but I didn’t think anyone would care. I actually cried a little when I found out. I know that might be pathetic to some, but Warrior was my first childhood hero.

The timing was so eerie. He made ammends with the WWE, got inducted to the Hall of Fame Saturday, appeared at Wrestlemania 30 Sunday, was on Raw the next night and said a speech like he KNEW he was going to die…and the next day, he was gone. sad.

He lived a lot longer than I thought he would. I always thought he was a wack wrestler. Paul Orndorff is the man!!!

Remember that fairly recent YouTube clip where Warrior was ranting about Hulkster.

Just one week prior to him dying my partners and I were picking up some stuff at Best Buy and I saw some “Best of Ultimate Warrior” DVD set (for like $30, uggh!!) on the rack up front.

I picked it up and asked my homies. “Is this guy dead?” figuring they must be capitalizing on some new post-death cult status or something. No one in my crew was really certain that he was alive or not, but of course his living status was promptly confirmed with a few clicks on an iPhone.

Less than a week later my friends tell me I jinxed the Warrior and made him die.

Very eerie indeed. I watched the HOF, and he definitely seemed kinda out of it. He was sweating, and seemed pretty tired. It was great seeing him. Both, his HOF speech and raw speech seemed pretty final. It’s like he held out to make amends with people he’s feuded with for years. Feel very sorry for his wife and two kids who love the hell out of the guy, to lose their husband/father not even a day after making his return and getting to live the moment again.

Nancy Grace covered it, and of course, went the Steroids route. Made a bogus list of wrestlers to have died from steroids, like Owen Hart. The shitstorm from that is unbelievably massive compared to what I was expecting. Almost 10k want her fired because of slandering pro wrestling. It’s amazing.

Pretty much everyone that had to work with him hated him. I couldn’t stand the guy long before he died because of the idiocy he spewed and the things he’d supposedly did in the past. But I feel bad for his kids and his wife and it’s a bummer because he seemed to be trying to right his wrongs.

His last promo on RAW right before he died is eerie, indeed. He was honestly the last one I’d thought would die out of the 2014 HOFM.

He was extremely right wing. As for the racism and homophobia, I have no idea what you’re talking about. He did do things, though, to rub people the wrong way. He was fired a few times.

I heard a while ago that he demanded much more money to wrestle black wrestlers, what a dickhead. I found this, it’s pretty funny, Warrior’s legal guy threatening someone who wrote on the internet that he thought Warrior was a bigot.

By the way, the documentary “The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior” is worth watching, although it i thought it went pretty easy on him. Still makes him look like a total cunt though.

I read Bret “The Hitman” Hart’s biography and he wrote about how Ultimate Warrior was a dickhead to the Make-A-Wish families back in the early 90’s. Didn’t give them hardly any time or blew them off.
