I was at that tour also…yeah that was Celtic Frost touring for Monotheist…and yes the bass made my bowels play Twister…

yup, that was one of my favorite shows ever. TON killed it. they have always been brilliant, but seeing them open for Celtic Frost was such an awesome thing…
TON is such a damn good band… now i have to put on Dead Again… off goes Fugazi… haha
I met Pete during Slayer I think…Roseland in NYC late 90’s. Damn he was tall. He was very cool to chill with.
If I remember right, I think he was 6’ 7". That’s pretty dang tall. I’m almost 6’ 4" and tower over most of my peers. I actually find it quite jarring anytime I end up face-to-face with someone or, even rarer, looking UP to someone. It’s just unusual so it always throws me off.
So, yeah, I’ve not met the guy, but I know I would have probably pissed my pants in shock had I seen him in the flesh.
