Following on from Lana, here’s two more women who deserve to be slobbered over:
Chrysta Bell: http://chrystabell.bandcamp.com/album/chrysta-bell-this-train-produced-by-david-lynch her new album, The Train produced by David Lynch (and involving John Neff from BlueBob). Chrysta worked on the INLAND EMPIRE soundtrack that was amazing and her new album continues in that vein. Very smooth and melodic. Fans of Twin Peaks and Lynch in general will love her. Plus she looks like this:
dammit, i was like this tune is amazing, so many layers of sound… then i realized i still had foobar playing some ambient/noise (Continuum recyclings vol 2) in the background.
I think the inflated vinyl price might be getting cynical towards nu-vinyl collectors… it’s become one of those things.
Elric, I love when I accidentally play songs over others. I can’t remember exactly what two songs it was but I did that before and it was an accidental masterpiece. I think one of the songs could have been by Solange and the other must have been something dark and ugly. Please, no puns.
On first listens I prefer Bell’s album to Lynch’s, which is a bit of let down to be honest.
