I prefer the first version (Twitched), so I’d start with that, then add the medley from the released version (WYAN/CAB/T2). Then I’d tack on all the various outtakes from the box set. There’s still a different version of The Angel in the vault that I’d kill to hear, so that should be on there too.
Yeah, I distinctly remember a Twitch-era TV interview where he talked about a forthcoming remix-single of “The Angel” that he described as being loud, fast, noisy, “an assault”. I would absolutely love to hear that.
I was actually looking for that interview a while back for another reason and couldn’t find it, oh well. He talks about the new lineup with the guys from Blackouts but still insists essentially that Ministry is solely him and that Barker, Rieflin, and Other Barker are a separate backing band he’s given its own separate name (‘Crucial’?) and aren’t part of Ministry itself. That’s a take on the band I’ve definitely never heard him give elsewhere.
That’s such a great interview. I think I have it in my archive somewhere.
They played that version of The Angel live a handful of times during the 86/87 tours. I think DJ Pon3 saw it live. DJ-can you comment on it? Would love to know more about it.

Yea, I saw them perform that version but it’s all pretty fuzzy now. I remember it was nothing like the Twitch version. It was very fast, like Diety fast, and I don’t remember it being electronic at all.[/reply]
Interesting. I’d love to hear that someday. It sounds like that remix may have been a test pilot for the overall style of LORAH.

I know. But album should have a flow, not just all tracks attached.
Well flow or not, you already have way too much repetition to my taste in your list. I’d go for
- original Twitch as was released, it’s 46 minutes - perfect length
- alternate Twitch using some other tracks and alternate versions (maybe even mix another medley of isle of man v2 going into twitch v1), something like (another ~46 mins with 23 min max per “side”, as it was a limitation in those days):
