Wait, why would they have My Chemical Romance co-headline? I don’t understand the connection. Is it because the singer kind of looks like Billy Corgan with hair or something?
No…it’s because young teen girls love them and they’re kind of sissy. Both are truly hideous bands…imo of course.[/reply]
I really, really like Adore. It seems like a lot of people hated it or still do hate it. I fucking love it. Other than that they’re past stuff is hit or miss and everything since Zeitgeist has been total ass.
I remember living in L.A. around the time Zeitgeist came out and I couldn’t walk five feet without seeing some sort of sign on a bench or poster or fucking billboard for that album. It was insane. Shame they put so much into marketing such a piece of shit.

It was a concert for a radio station. Live 105 (105.3 in the Bay Area) Not So Silent Night. I highly doubt they were actually on tour together.
Don’t remember the name of the venue but it was some lame pop-punk band called Strung Out and another called Straight Faced. OMG they sucked so bad. Not to mention most of the crowd were assholes throwing beer around. Straight Faced played a punk cover of ‘Crazy Train’. Terrible.

The Social at 54 N Orange Ave.[/reply]
I’ve been up to The Social a few times…cool venue…I’ve seen Kool Keith,Buckethead,Jesu,Tomahawk,Mr Bungle and several others there…
I’ve seen Julliet and the Licks (Halloween), Southern Culture on the Skids, Raveonettes, Swans, etc. at The Social. I once lived about 10 to 15 minutes from it.

Yep…Churchhill Station…I’m from Miami and live in Miami now but I lived in Orlando for 2 years in the early 90’s…in an area called Rosemont…

How were the Raveonettes? I’d love to see them live.
The 2005 show was great, and they signed their CDs after the show.
Rosemont is too close to Crime Hills for my taste.
I don’t know what Crime Hills is but I lived in Rosemont 20 years ago and it was more bland than anything else…I remember I lived a few blocks for a drive in theater that used to be there…right off of OBT…
Crime hills = pine hills, most well known for murder these days.
Rosemont is right next door to Lockhart, which had the Visage during your time of residency.
