I fully endorse these entries into the book of suckage. Especially BLS. I might actually hate them and their fans more than Pantera. I’m not sure. If I could light Zach’s stupid hippie beard on fire and then kick him in the wiener, I would.
And Venom . . . yeah, it’s cool to like them and everyone says they do because of their scary iconic album art and t-shirt designs. I don’t hate them or even get bothered if people really do like them, but the reality is they really were a terrible band.
How have 2 pages worth of posts been added to this thread with no one mentioning Sonic Youth? I just… don’t… get it. Atonal noise + Kim Gordon’s cigarette-throat croak = not my cup of tea. But hey, they’re brilliant, right?

I don’t usually bother with the Top 40 or teenybopper stuff on these topics, but there’s one whose popularity and success just baffles me to no end . . . NICKI MINAJ. Holy crap, she is just friggin’ attrocious. It’s not just an “ain’t my cup of tea” type of thing either. She has a horrible voice, idiotic lyrics that a 7 year old with Down’s Syndrome might pen, bad sense of rhythm. She’s just 100 percent bad.

I got a funny take on Nicki Minaj. When I first heard her rap on Kanye West’s “Monster,” she was so amazing that I thought she’d be the next Missy Elliott. Then the album came out. WOW. Just awful.
I have no way of adjusting for the disparity between the two performances, other than to suggest one of two theories: 1) it was Kanye’s production the whole time; or 2) the producers who handle her now have no idea what to do with her, she’s that… weird.
On the other hand, she is an obnoxious little tart, which makes it harder to be a Minaj apologist.
