April 9 - Portland, OR - DANTE’S
April 10 - Vancouver, BC - THE RED ROOM (on Richards)
April 11 - Seattle, WA - EL CORAZON
May 14 - Atlanta, GA - THE LOFT
May 15 - Raleigh, NC - LINCOLN THEATRE

May 30 - Las Vegas, NV - BEAUTY BAR

In continuation of their 20th Anniversary celebration, the show will be reminiscent of the infamous “1989 Inferno Xpress Tour”. It will feature many songs from the Wax Trax years - including hits like “Kooler Than Jesus”, “A Daisy Chain 4 Satan”, “The Days Of Swine & Roses”, “The Devil Does Drugs”, and, of course “A Girl Doesn’t Get Killed By A Make-Believe Lover… Cuz It’s Hot”!

hmm, i wonder if TKK will only play their last 3 albums despite this statement? i actually might catch the ATL show. Its a small place - like a bar. could be fun.
Man, they were terrible when they opened for Ministry in '04, but maybe it was just a fluke. If they add an AZ date, I’d consider checking them out again. Hard to pass on a show heavy with Wax Trax tunes.
Both times I’ve seen them they put on a good show, but their sound is no good. A Daisy Chain 4 Satan is prob my favorite TKK song and it always underwhelmed played live.
I’ve seen TKK more than most any other band, they used to tour a lot and I’d watch them when they came through town even though I’d long ago stopped buying their new material. The last time with Ministry was terrible. I may give them another shot if they come through MPLS but I definitely ain’t driving any distance to see 'em.
i agree guys, they have gotten worse in these last times i’ve seen them. but here in ATL this place is just a little bar (from what I hear). so i may go just to see what’s up.
i’ll go to the austin show if i’m around.
i think they may have had crappy shows with ministry because they were treated like crap. odd, considering frank and al’s history.
but there really isn’t any excuse for a bad performance.
Maybe they were treated like crap because they had bad shows?
Anyway, it was mostly Frankie that was the problem. He was clearly fucked up. Levi was on point, and the overweight-yet-attractive English singer was into it. Old whathisface just stood behind the keyboard like he always does.
i know frank and" what’s his name"–marston daley. for a long time. haven’t seen em in a while. i think i can manage getting in, so thanks.
never a good story when somebody’s a mess on stage. frank’s living in LA now. maybe that will make all the difference in the world. don’t know. i’ll go if i’m around.
Thanks - I wasn’t trying to sound like an ass, I seriously just didn’t remember his name [:)]
I met Frankie once after another show, and he was totally cool. Very friendly with the fans, supernice. My fiance has a photobooth picture of him and about 6 fans crammed into the booth. He wanted everyone to come onto the tourbus when the bar closed, but said he had to clear it with a clearly grumpy Marston who was sitting at the bar.
So that’s why it was sad to see him at a lower point a few years later.
there was an awesome photobooth at wax trax. i think i still have some photos from visiting
the black lacquered former funeral parlor on lincoln ave… all kinds of nutcases(LIKE ME) and the stars!
yup. one these days, why i oughtta…
just got back from the show. $20. got video and a few pics(brand new camera*). much better than when they opened for ministry. small place. i enjoyed it. i will post more tomorrow - after sleep. all old songs. there were only 2 songs that were after sexplosion. no levi levi. only one bomb gang girlz. 150 people there tops.
