Did Tiger ever say to these kids, “I want you to conduct your romantic relationships the way I do. Follow my lead.”

Sorry pork I’m going with Void and Dildo on this one. he never sold “wholesome” it was implied by the advertisers. If anybody needs to apologize to EVERYONE it’s the advertisers.

Not only that, demanding an apology from a product is absurd, (and let’s face it, that’s what Tiger was, he was a product/item) you never demand an apology from a product. You ever see someone on the side of the road with a broken down Lexus demanding an apology from the car? no, but you want one from the company that sold you that shitty thing.

This is probably the only thing in the last 20 years that Tiger is innocent of. The advertisers approach him and throw a script at him then the advertisers cut and edit the ad anyway they want, so if tiger comes off wholesome then that is the advertisers fault, not Tiger’s.

That being said, He is NO role Model for kids. what child looks up to a golfer? Golf is a rich, old man’s “sport” So, the role model angle is a stupid argument to me (but then again it’s always been a stupid argument to me! if your kid looks up to an athlete rather than a parent then congratulations on being a failure of a parent)

I see what you’re saying…we were sold this tiger image, but then again he DID go along with it. The only thing he ever sold us was that he was blasian (or whatever that weird word was) and specifically NOT black

Companies though, don’t apologize anymore, they give checks if anything.

Well once you sign on the line they own you and basically have no control over what they want to do with the commercial or your image until the contract is up. sadly, it’s never the advertisers that fuck the image up though.

news to me, I never kept up with that guy. I still think along the lines of void when he posted that the guy just seems like a pretentious dick. Plus, I think Golf is as Dull as watching flys fuck! So, I have never had reason to pay attention to him.

Oh, your not dropping any kind of new knowledge with this statement. You for damn sure will get a check before an apology. An apology suggests guilt/wrong doing. A check says shut the fuck up and go away!

I think monogamy should be an optional clause in marriage. That a man or woman could marry more than once… but that’ll never happen.

There should at least be a stipulation (like in Curb Your Enthusiasm) that allows a spouse to fool around with someone else if they so wish at some point in their marriage. Just to keep both parties happy.
