the listing or the fact that 8 bids are on it?
Both.
$53.85 shipping. Must be a heavy shirt.
An “honorary cock” in more ways than one…

I think it was Erie Load’s.

Erie probably wore a Large when he was 5 years old.
Or 5 weeks . . . as a fetus.
I think its crazy that the killing joke backdrop is at a higher cost than the Revco shirt, but that’s just me.
So whats the story with these fence pieces, they’re fake?

I think the joke is that Martin has been selling those shits for so long that nobody can believe there would still be real pieces to sell…

For years Martin Atkins has been giving away/selling little bits of chain link that he claims are part of the original fence from the Mind tour.
Someone asked Al about it and he said Atkins was full of shit because he’s had the fence in his personal storage for the last 25 years.
That’s hilarious.
I don’t know or care whether the “original” fence pieces are legit or not. Anyone that pays $50 for a 6" piece of metal bar that may or may not have been a piece of a fence that may or may not have been spit on by Al or climbed by Connelly is retarded.
I will however call shenanigans on Al claiming that he has the real fence in storage.
-
Given all the garbage that Al/13th Planet has sold I am sure that fence would have been rationed out and commoditized already.
-
They built a NEW and completely ineffective fence for the CU-LA-Tour. Why? Because they didn’t already have one, that’s why.
-
I had actually started the “Bring Back the Fence” campaign back on the Piss Army prior to the CU-LA-Tour being launched. If they had a fence to bring back, I’m sure we would have seen it (either on stage or at the merch booth).
Anyway . . . . I don’t buy it (and I won’t).
Unless Al shows us this mythical fence I’m going to file that under “Bullshit”.
Actually, I think Al’s opinion is inaccurate as well - iirc the fence was in possession of H-Gun Labs, the tour VHS guys, and it was later given to Test Department whom used it for their own purposes.
All in all, it’s still just a fence, I just find it funny how long the debacle has lasted what, 15 years?
If I knew for a fact that the fence was THE FENCE being sold, I would possibly buy a piece for memories, but only if . . . .
- It was $5 or less.
- None of the money went to Martin.
