they just keep coming...

Sex Pistols set to reunite

The Sex Pistols are to play a one-off gig to mark the 30th anniversary of their classic album “Never Mind The Bollocks”.

They will play London’s Brixton Academy on November 8.

The group split in 1978 but reformed in 1996 and last performed together in 2003.

All four surviving members - John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock - will perform at the November gig.

“Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols” was released in 1977 amid great controversy and is now regarded as a landmark in British music history.

The album is being re-released to coincide with the anniversary.

i listen to steve jones’ jonesy’s jukebox whenever i remember he’s on. 103.5 in LA. he’s also got a friday show called jonesy’s jury where he has guests on to critique releases he gets. it’s pretty hilarious.
glad to see HIS commitment to music still stands.and it’s pretty obvious that he’s a huge fan of everything good. plays a lot of weird crap going back several decades, and he knows his music history.
i’d go see them were i conveniently out of the country at the time. not one of the fortunate few who saw them in dallas back when.

And £37.50 per ticket so I heard. Fuck that.

I went to see the Sex Pistoils Experience for a fiver at my local pub. They’re a lot younger and played for laughs. And actually played a lot better than the Pistols ever could back in the day. A good atmosphere and pissing about like wot punk rock should be.
