When i was a youngster i loved the WWF! I loved the cartoon too!
My fav wrestler was hands down Paul “Mr Wonderful” Orndorff. He had the baddest finisher “The Pile Driver!”. I especially liked it when he became a “good guy” and teamed up with Hulk Hogan…then BATTERED Hulk Hogan and pile-drived him while doing an interview with him! Bwahahahahaha!!! That’ll teach the Hulkster for being a panzy good guy!
So who was your fav???
Don’t bother with that WWE crap!! I’m talking proper 80’s WWF business here.
its well known that Hulk Hogan is one of the most stupid fucking arseholes around… but I admit when I was 6 I was saying my prayers and eating my vitamins. Bret Hart was pretty cool as was Undertaker (whos still at it im told). Anyone remember Giant Gonzalez/El Gigante? He was huge, something like 7’7’’, but was absolutely awful.
i always thought WFF waz gay, but i did watch WCW with guys like Sting, DDP, The NWO, and Booker T
I was waiting for this to happen…WCW, NWA, AWA were all cheap ass red neck versions of the mighty WWF! All the wrestlers in those crappy organisations were breaking their necks (no pun intended) to break (no pun intended) into the WWF!
Another beast…
Poor King Kong Bundy getting battered by that radge Hulk Hogan in the classic Wrestlemania 2 cage match!
Jake the Snake…best talker ever in the business. His promos are great and no one comes close to them. The best psychological wrestler. “Trust me”
And recently, I’ve become a huge fan of Iron Sheik’s shoot interviews. Everything he does really, is funny.
Take for instance his thoughts on Brian Blair, his oppoenent at Wrestlemania 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K-wEUCCvE0
his language is very colorful shall we say. “I didn’t do it for God and Jesus and Vince McMahon”
"you are WORSE than Michael Jackson! "
And on a similar note, he is also featured on the Howard Stern show, where he played (and failed graciously) to Anal Ring Toss to Bubba the Love Sponge and Artie Lange.
is this guy still alive??

Ultimate warrior-heart attack
andre the giant - heart attack (from his size not the roids like the warrior)
Junk yard dog- car wreck
bret heart fell to his death during a wrestlemania

Adrian Adonis
Bam Bam Bigolo
Andre
Earthquake
Mr Perfect
JYD
pretty sure luger is still alive. shocked to see the “lovely elizabeth” is dead she didn’t age to well but drugs seldom let you age nicely.

I was spawned in '89, so I regrettably missed the “golden age” of professional wrestling (as well as everything else), but during the brief period of my childhood that I WAS into the WWF, my favorite wrestler was, without a doubt, “Mankind” Mick Foley.
You’ve gotta respect anyone who can kick your ass with a sock puppet and a fistful of tacks.
ultimate warrior isn’t dead either.
and savage was great up until 91. once he dumped sherri and got all soft again, he was done (though his match at wrestlemania 8 with ric flair is great)
