the vinyl sounded great. pick it up if you like the album. wouldn’t mind tracking down other early Ministry vinyl if I come across it.
not all of it, but i think there are some actually SOLID songs on there.
i was playing in a sorta ‘New Orleans funeral’ style band, and i kept recommending a cover of ‘Revenge’ but we never got around to it.

The only thing that could top this are CD versions of all the pre-Twitch singles and a modern day Ministry version of With Sympathy/Twitch (much like the Undercover version of Halloween)

the bonus is kinda weak (well its the same as the previous attempt to reissue)
for one, they put there 2 b-sides but not the extended version of IWTTH (a-side) form the 12’’, which was like not only remix but partially a re-recording?
second, they put up work for love dub (who knows which version, 'cause there were a few), come on… if they go that route to put b-sides and remixes, why not extended version of WFL as well?
ministry should release ultimate WS version: original album, dvd of minneapolis '83 live show + revenge video (maybe same old madness too), bonus cd with all the remixes + b-sides from the album singles and 2nd bonus cd with other studio songs from that era, considering if such recodrings even exist (never asked for nothing / soso life / love change / etc etc we all heard them on bootlegs).

Eh, it’s going to fall through the cracks again, more than likely. Personally, the original master sounds fine. I would be more excited if the 12" bonus tracks were more complete.

Eastworld/Plastichead have been releasing Killing Joke in the UK for a good few years now, they seem reputable enough, i’d be more surprised if this doesn’t happen.

Now the art work to be honest looks a bit cheep, is looks like someone has scaned the original album art and ramped up the colour there is also some typo’s on the back nothing major, What he say is down as being 14 mins long. The inner sleeve booklet is the same as the original on the inside no extra note’s. The sound is i think better, sharper and brighter with more seperation and detail.
I have to say the only reason i got this was the get the bonus tracks on cd i think is worth the cost just for them.
All in all i’m happy with or £7[:)]
