they are vetting it right now. despite what some have said they don’t just put everything up on the net if there is some info in there that could potentially kill someone. (Mostly middle eastern cables) they leave the info intact but leave out the names of the innocent.

Anyone remember when Geraldo Rivera was doing a “frontline” report in Afghanistan and he drew that map in the dirt explaining exactly where they were with respect to the enemy location and described what the “plan” was? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That was classic!
I live in shit-wrecked Moldova where the average monthly salary is 129 USD, and one of the leaked cables describes our politicians selling their allegiances for as high as 10 million bucks. Do I need to say more? Corruption is always suspected, ever present, but seeing it documented and described in such detail, it’s one fucking eye-opener.
And this is just one example. I can’t even imagine what impact it will have on the politics of other countries, the US included. I laugh in the face of those who whine that the “security of our great nation has been compromised”. Really? How fucking brainwashed do you have to be to believe that? But most of all, how can you prove it?

apparently he surrendered to Swedish officials but the US want to extradite him after that case is resolved, which is bullshit. All he is is a publisher and they clearly made the point with Robert Novak that a publisher has no legal responsibility for the shit he/she publishes as long as it’s true.
