it was not “banned”, it’s more like a recalled version. when revco recorded that cover song originally, they pressed like 50 or so 12" vinyl singles but then they had to pull 'em out and change the lyrics somewhat to avoid being sued by olivia newton john.
the original doesn’t have ‘no pain baby no gain’ intro sample and has basically the same ‘instrumentation’ but doesn’t have many of the samples.
yeah but it was still a vinyl rip, though released on official compilation… it’s not as crisp as the cd version of bsq. and it was fucking lame not to include the recalled version on rerelease of bsq by ryko.
