This jam reminds me of the hilarious UK show “Dance Energy”, from that same era…the ADHD editing was as over-the-top as anything I’ve seen.

True, and it makes it damned difficult to see if Everybody IS In The Place or not.
Back to Soul Train - one of my favorite moments on there was David Bowie’s mid-70s performance (er, lip sync) on the show, where he was getting interviewed by Don Cornelius and clearly wasn’t all there…among his choice quips were “we have street corners in England, too…”
