anybody else having trouble getting these to play?
downloaded fine, the files just won’t play for me. I seem to be able to pick up to different types of files. One of type .thx and the other as regular mp3. The mp3s aren’t playing for me, and teh other are playing as quicktime files.
Anyone think I might be able to soulseek these files from them?
Have you tried renaming the .txt files to .mp3? Usually does the trick.

the guy is hosting them off of a mac. you need to get stuffit expander to “unpack” them. then they become mp3s. stuffit is to mac what winzip is to pc.
hiya [:)] Sorry about the HQX thing! I don’t know why my Mac server is doing that, since I am hosting the files as mp3’s, but I didn’t have time to play around and figure out how to get it to NOT do that. It was just easier to to tell everyone how to un-do it.

looking forward to it. especially the TKK set. i dl’d that one last night. i already had a lossless version of the ministry set as apparently came off of XM or something as such. (see the torrents/merrivale thread about that one).

Try a Ministry track or two from the live recording and compare to the XM. The XM was a soundboard, and I think it had gaps and was patched (well, too), but it might be interesting to see the difference between the soundboard over XM and the live recording. I think there was a lot of energy. My opinion [cool] live. I actually rather have a live tape than a patch into the board usually. A patch is nice for some things (a dj set especially), but not Ministry, to me. Having both is great.

After all the requests for lossless I got (not from here, but elsewhere), not one person has jumped on the Ministry / TKK torrent so far, that I can tell. The torrent is the TKK and Ministry, all in one.
I’ll see about easytree. Not sure yet.
