The Prongs Hippity Hoppity Thread!

Thought it was about time for another Hippity Hoppity thread.

Obviously no one out there is as Hip Hop as Fang Face but what can you do?

Some of my fav Hip Hop king-pins are the following…

Schoolly D!
Kool G Rap!!
Marley Marl!!!
Pitman!!!
DJ Premier!!
Edan!!!
Saul Williams!!!
Aceyalone!!!
Freestyle Fellowship!!!
Geto Boys!!!
Anti-Pop Consortium!!!
Ice!!!
Spank Rock!!
Roots Manuva!!!
Skinnyman!!!
Nut-Rageous!!!

And of course Justin Broadrick[cool]

Not to mention the other million un-named Hippity Hoppity rip-snorters!!!

my personal favorite rapper of all time is Andre 3000 of Outkast, but Saul Williams is up there as well. Dalek, but more for the music. A Tribe Called Quest

GZA. Enough said.

What Zetterberg is to the Detroit Red Wings, GZA is to MCing.

I saw RZA the last month and it was the lamest gig ever.

GZA is cool. As an MC there are many who slay his ass though!

Aceyalone is but one. “A Book Of Human Language” is the greatest Hip Hop album out there…in fact it’s the greatest album out there full-stop! (In fact i may now have to bump the thread and RapReviews review of Acey’s legendary album)

Kool G Rap and Schoolly D are the coolest rappers that ever were.

I thought this was a thread about bunnies. My wife and I just got a bunny last weekend and she is a super-cute big black dutch bunny with white markings around her nose!

As for hip-hop, I really like Jedi Mind Tricks.

mmm, rabbits make great meat.
my cousin had a pet rabbit a few years back. He was called Pâté.

Kool Keith and all his personas
Gza - get beneith the surface… best chill hip hop cd ever

mike patton and dan the automator are doing a hip hop cd right now

Yo Jizzim…if you want the most awesome record you NEED to try get hold of this…it’s hard to find now so download it if you can’t get hold of it. (That goes for all of you here!)

It’s one of the very few albums to recieve 10/10 from RapReviews…here is the RapReview i posted in an earlier thread…

Let us not forget another of the illest albums ever…

Kool G Rap And DJ Polo “Road To Riches” (Produced By Marley Marl!!!)

Then of course we have legendary…EPMD!!!

I love me some Public Enemy.

Immortal Technique is pretty bitchin’.

Basically all late Eighties-early Nineties rap kicks ass.

Call her Schoolly D.

Remember seeing the Beasties and Run DMC back in the day at the Odeon in Birmingham.

Jason A

36 Chambers from Wu-Tang
Liquid Swords from the Gza
Atliens from Outkast
Ready to Die from B.I.G.

I’ve seen Wu-Tang live and it’s like a circus on stage. Really good live show.

Other hip hop shows I’ve been to:

Jurassic 5 - super tight
the Roots - also super tight
Nappy Roots - good stuff, I was drunk
Cypress Hill - they kicked ass but it was more of a rap metal thing
Saul Williams - super tight
Vanilla Ice - hahaha

Other hip hop shows I’ve been to:
