i have lived in austin on and off for fifteen years. i chased that guy (current gov)off of my porch, telling him,“Hi, how"s it goin’, never voted for a republican in my life…” slammed the door. .
You go girl!
pffffft.
uh, it was funny. seeing this barrell chested guy, maybe 5’8", with a bunch of white boy handlers. and all i am trying to do is read my paper. DONT FUCK WITH ME AND MY PAPER.
i was very calm. and i knew who he was so it was infinitely funny. yup.
I’d be shocked to see Rick Perry even attempt to run. He’s barely a cheerleader.
one of those yap dogs with all bark and no bite. If I was near him I’d take off my mitten and box his ears a bit with it.

i knew you would be here, senor smurf. thanks.i believe perry will run.snd god bless america.
Perry will try and pray his way into the White House, and so will never get there.
Perry will try and pray his way into the White House…
That is if he has time, since he and texas are going to secede from the union… so I guess he’ll be running one way or another.

so many theories about perry, but the reality is that texas is at the bottom as far as education goes. and he wants to create a texas silicon valley by giving tax perks to companies willing to move here. what this idiot doesn’t understand is silicon valley was created by highly educated people coming out of stanford and berkley. paul’s grandfather was somewhat affiliated with the pack. if you want people to relocate, and they are young enough to have kid issues, they won’t come if the public school system (including universities) is for shit. and perry’s personal life remains a mystery, other than the wife always looks dazed.

I knew that. It’s funny cause back around 2001/2002 they were trying to get the nation to follow Texas’ educational standards because their students were crushing the state tests and then a couple years later it came out that Texas’ state standards were written down at about the third grade level.

unfortunately with the state of the economy most up and coming families will sacrifice their child’s education if it means mommy or daddy can get a job.
I don’t think the weather would lend itself to that kind of electrical manufacturing down in Texas anyway, would it? Ca. is very dry. Texas not so much, from what I hear.
and perry’s personal life remains a mystery, other than the wife always looks dazed.
Oh but he’s a christian who screams “lower the federal tax” what else is there to know? His wife constantly feels the hand of god(probably up her dress) no wonder she looks dazed.

Hesperia is actually the the town over from where I live. We’d be city neighbors. [:)]
What’s wrong with So Cal? Beautiful weather, we don’t have nut ball politicians that are the caliber of Rick Perry… even if some are conservative.
It’s win win

loved living there, but again it takes a lot of cash. and two college aged kids’ needs don’t strike a comfort zone whatsoever.going west again, but further north. possibly portland. who knows. a year or so away.
I don’t vote. I think it’s un-American.
the only thing un-american anymore is if you are a member of congress and you don’t VOTE to get rid of these idiots who want to maintain the status quo of the rich. there are no" new" taxes, people. the point is to get rid of the tax exemptions for the rich,
(somebody help me here, because you can look it up faster than i can. there was one rapper who said something to the effect that he didn’t need these tax BREAKS. )
everyone in the US of A needs to give their fair share. i have been doing volunteer work for years. (any of you knuckleheads calls me a hippy, i won’t wait for your memorial to slam you.)
i plan to be once again an election judge in november,
The tax breaks for those on over $250,000 a year is NOTHING other than a favour for the very wealthy. All this crap about helping small business is pure stink; f all small business owners are on $250,000 or more a year. Taxing wealthy people (some of whom are not wealthy because of “hard graft” but have been privileged all their lives) is responsible and necessary, otherwise the gov. becomes their tool and sends the country into debt. Gov. is losing shitloads of revenue every year from a non-sensical tax break. After Slick Willy’s cuts and no spend policy Bush comes in takes it up the jacksy every time a tax cut proposal came his way and when he left there was something like a $12 trillion debt. Reagan (one of the most evil Americans in recent history) also left a bad deficit after he left. Republicans and their tax breaks for the rich don’t work. It’s so obvious.

my bum-ass old band 'Dead Method (who sounded like a crappy dino Jr…) was signed to a label from there…
but to weigh in on this topic… i just want Denny Kucinny, but he will never win, not because of his politics, or his height, but because he is a vegan… and god, do most americans have a weird sexualized hate for people who DONT slaughter animals for food…
Tax breaks are not the cause nor the solution. It’s like not being able to pay your rent and then deciding to cut back on chewing gum when the answer is to stop spending all the rent money on hookers and blow.
Sorry carmangary but this wrong.
Tax breaks for the wealthy are contributing more than a trillion to our deficit. (At least 2 trillion if I remember right)
The rich are hoarding money right now so even if trickle down worked (which it doesn’t) there is no money to trickle because its sitting in bank accounts rather than trickling.
As far as spending all the money on hookers and blow W hasn’t been in the white house in almost 3 years.
What $ is trying to be spent on paying our bills has already been spent on hookers and blow.
How very convienent for conservatives. they get their blank check wet dream for 8 years (while NOT paying the bills) but now that the real bills are due they are screaming we can’t afford it. And they are blaming the current president for the recklessness of their man that helped create the crisis we have now.
How is it we have/had unlimited $ for defense contractors but no $ to take care of the elderly, the sick, The down trodden and the middle class.
It’s not that we can’t afford to take care of these people it’s that the GOP doesn’t want to take care of them.
They stood in the way of the stimulus (the real stimulus not the piddly 300 dollars george bush sent out the first time) then took credit for its progress, now they are standing in the way of the debt ceiling getting unrealistic demands out of Obama. You know if it was W the check book would be open and anyone opposing this would be called unamerican.
