The People Don't Lie

A little irony for the rest of you here. Guess what the number 1 downloaded Ministry song is on itunes? None other than the often ignored by Al and co., “everyday is halloween”.

It’s ignored by Ministry only on tour. Al has often referred to Halloween as the beginning of his DIY era, but he hasn’t disowned it like he has With Sympathy. I’m sure he’s still very fond of his Wax Trax days. The song itself doesn’t fit into Ministry’s sound anymore (well, since '88 really), so of course he’s not going to play it live. I was surprised to hear We Believe in 2003, and he certainly hasn’t disowned Twitch. A lot of fans here still like Halloween as well. It’s one of my all-time favorite Ministry songs. What is it that you think is ironic?

So…He disowns With Sympathy, but still manages to sing the praises of this no-name synth abortion.

And you need to ask us what it is that we find ironic here?

I’m sure he’s still very fond of his Wax Trax days.

Yeah. Like Mike Patton is still fond of his days as a funk metal gay icon.

A lot of fans here still like Halloween as well.

And a lot of the fans here live in trailer parks and have two missing front teeth.

It’s another insipid post by the witless quote machine himself. How does it feel, Fennesz?

Seriously, practice your comedy act somewhere else.
