I don’t wanna stumble through a ton of Google pages… so, does anyone have an easy way to define how our experts are determining when the peak of this Covid thing is?
The following page has this quote “We appear to be at the peak of this wave of the pandemic…” How is this determined?
I have been really shaking my head at how specific they’d been in the news so often . . . . . "Well, California is going to peak on April 27, Washington on May2 . . . ".
It was so weird. I mean, if I had any involvement or responsibility I’d at least be putting it like, “if things follow the models we’ve studied we expect things to level off the week of______”.
I get really sick of hearing all these experts make declarations only to do complete 180’s a few days later.
That certainly seems more responsible. I mean, I guess it’s understood that that’s what they mean when they say that, but when you got a spike in poisoning calls to the CDC because #UltimateAuthorityGuy says that people should inject themselves with bleach, you really can’t take common sense for granted. But, then again, it is stupid Trumpers/Republicans… Inject away morons the country humanity is better off without you.
It’s all red states acting foolish. Although the blue states have their share of idiots. There was a rally in San Diego with a bunch of people holding signs saying Covid was a lie (wearing masks of course). My little town had a “Pro Trump/Covid is a lie rally” last Saturday on one of the bridges that crosses a major fwy. I saw he Arizona Republican Chair was telling protestors to wear scrubs while protesting to make it seem like health care workers are against government over reach. This is crazy. I never thought I would actually see Darwinism in action right in front of me. I mean I saw Mtv Market Darwinism with Jackass but people doing it for free? Never. BTW my buddy sent me this meme I thought it was pretty appropriate:
