the ORIGINAL right-wing talkshow host

Oh man, I’m about to have a coronary… [laugh]

Anybody seen this Wally George guy before? Funny shit, the man was ahead of his time! The formula for his show would later be copied for shows such as Morton Downey Jr, Jerry Springer and Fox News. Here’s one clip with the Mentors, there are others just search for “Wally George” or “hot seat”. Check out the John Wayne poster in the background:

The GWAR interview is, as usual, gold.

No one else finds this shit hilarious? Or just no comments? C’mon folks this is quality entertainment here!

God Bless America!!!

More like YouTube is being horrible with me. [;)]

Wow the Gwar clip feels like its an extra from the “Phallus in Wonderland” movie. Hee-larious

I just can’t stop wondering how for real the host is. Apparently he is the father of Rebecca de Mornay!!! Is he really a total right-winger, I mean some of the shit on the set just looks totally comical. American flags everywhere, a portrait of John Wayne, a picture of a space shuttle with a “USA #1” sign, the host wearing a flag tie… And look at those guests, most of them look like the same kind of guests that would be attending NASCAR or a monster truck event.

Maybe Wally George was a true conservative, but he knew what he was doing as a showman. I truly think as stated before that his style branched off in two ways: one the Jerry Springer format, two the FOX news “combat journalism” style…

Either way it’s some funny ass shit!

P.S.

At the end of every show Wally will literally (though obviously just theatrically simulated) kicks the guest out! The guest, no matter if it seems they could not hurt a fly, gets thrown out, escorted by “security” dressed as law enforcement…

Fucking surreal folks!

Meh.

The Hot Seat show seems to be set up for a bit of fun (which cant be said for crap like the O’Reilly factor, which attempts to be serious and cherish American and all that crap).

Most of the audience are drunken jocks that are probably handed out these tacky little flags and signs as they go in. The host seems only half serious or half about his wits… harmless stuff.

El Duce was funny though, “No, I think you’re a pervert” Hilarious.
