The Ultimate Lesson’s were created in the early to mid eighties by Double Dee & Steinski. They’re studio creation cut & paste and there still hasn’t been any that come close to this day.
What you have have here is all the best breaks taken out of classic Funk & Soul & Rock tracks and spliced together…add to that crazy samples from films, ads, tv etc and presto.

The 12"s have been reissued and you can also buy all the Ultimate Lessons on an album/cd. There was also an Ultimate Lessons Vol 2 album/cd released which featured other artist’s such as Coldcut and Cut Chemist among others.
