Man, this show has gotten so bad!! I was wondering if they hired new writers because it has sorely lacked for last couple of seasons. The story lines are all the same, split the group up, focus on one part of the group one week at a time, make each episode an episode of monologues then, at the end of each episode finally add a bit of rising action but make the viewer wait an entire week or more to resolve that rising action with some bit of anticlimactic bullshit and most importantly NEVER EVER MOVE THE STORY ALONG. The last 2 1/2 seasons should have been 6 or seven shows at best. You can tell the writers have been stalling for 2 years. It’s sad! I’m so bored. the writers seem to think killing off characters moves the story when it doesn’t. BORING!!!

I keep holding out hope. It was still pretty good but after they fired Darabont and DeMunn quit the show it steadily went down hill and after they left the prison it has just been the same repetitive crap; Them all scattered up, fucking walking somewhere, Chandler Riggs still can’t act his way out of a paper bag, which you’d think wouldn’t be the case with all those British actors on set. You’d think one of them would take him aside and teach him something. But no, he’s horrible.
The most popular character (Daryl Dixon) has gotten all of maybe 50 minutes of screen time in the last 2 seasons combined.
Now their poised to bring in the baddest fucker in the comic and and I have absolutely no hope of it being better. They’re going to have to water his character down so bad for cable tv. The only way to truly show the badass that is Negan is to move the show over to HBO or Showtime because they can’t use a fraction of the character’s personality on normal TV.
So, yeah, short answer, Yes I still watch this show, but now more than ever it’s out of habit and hope rather than pleasure.
it’s really sad when the once a month comic publication out does the show. The story lines in the comic are better, and the best part is the comic fucking moves!! 16 pages once a month out does a big budget tv show that gets four hours a month. Just pitiful.
While I found this season to be uneven,I don’t share in grmpys vitriol towards it…I thought there were a few bad ass episodes…I loved when the Wolves attacked Alexandria and just went on a ruthless mayhem filled killing spree…and I dug finding out the back story on Morgan and how he came to be this pacifist zen akido master…I still have fun watching the show even when the writing gets lazy…

Ill give you those two episodes. They were good. Even the season opener was good but they stretched the opener into, what 4-5 episodes… And the opener was an hour and a half. And if youll notice the group is separated once again. Still Disappointed.

Lol, i know, hard to believe not one walker took a bite out of his foot or something, wasnt it? That didnt bug me i knew glenn would be fine. I just really want the writing to return to form. Im getting tiree of the story staying in on spot and i dont mean them traveling anywhere i mean move the plot along.

I had to stop a few episodes into series 2, it was just not entertaining me at all. The female characters were all written as total whining shrews and i just couldn’t take any more of it. I keep hearing good stuff about it, then more bad stuff for a while, so it seems to have peaks and troughs but i don’t have the will to be arsed watching it.

Well, Michone, Carol, and Maggie are some strong women. Granted Carol wasn’t in the beginning but she’s one of my favorite characters. her growth has been phenomenal. Laurie’s dead so her bitchiness has been written out. Andrea is dead so her stupid decision after stupid decision is out, Maggie’s kid sister is dead so there’s no more stupidness from that character. All of the characters that are still around are good (minus Carl) they just don’t use them productively anymore.

Fucking hate this show but I will admit I still watch it cuz it’s an awesome comic & Greg Nicotero/Howard Berger of KNB rock out as the make-up team which explains the exceptional quality in FX dept.
In a way, the legacy of George Romero’s greatness lives on thru this heinous show due to Nicotero & Berger’s presence so I am begrudgingly a fan of The Fwalking Dead, lol… [:P]
