thieves! thieves! securitron and edgecrusher!
Unless he hands the Ministry moniker over to the With Sympathy line-up, he should just bury the name, along with all copies of Cover Up.

I have no problem with Al doing this. He’d been saying that he’d hand off the Ministry name since the Mind days of interviews so why not hand off the Revco name after they got a great line-up together.
I know a lot of people would disagree with the current line-up being great but holy hell if Revco didn’t sound like Revco on the last tour. I loved them live.
I enjoyed them live as well. This could be a good thing.
or, because of so many people complaining, (probably like how it was in the mind days due to the change of sounds from record to record) , he can say, “well, at least it’s not MY band they’re talking about anymore”
True, but if it’s the same lineup as the tour I don’t think there will be too much complaining.
Happy to hear I’m not the only ones who dug the touring Cocks. Also very happy that the new album is not going to be titled “Got Cock”.
Man, if you guys haven’t heard the Simple Shelter EP “All is One”…I think many on the board will dig it. It’s really good; electronics, samples, Dance Beats. If Josh Takes REVCO in this direction I think many will be pleased. You can get it on cdbaby.com

It’s not just an EP - it’s a full length album
And it’s good. Dark, quirky electronic pop.
I got it from Josh Bradford at the Show on the 5th and he called it an EP and that the new full length album is due out any time.

49 minutes is a long EP!
This whole line-up w/o original founding members makes me think of Napalm Death.
I keep thinking Christian Death. Except without the lawsuits.

Depends on how you look at it. The first Jesu EP (“Heartache”) was only 2 tracks, both clocking in at around 20 minutes a piece. The EP itself wound up being 42 minutes long I think. And that’s not the first time JKB has done that. Or other people. I’m kinda used to it and kinda expect it from certain bands really.
Peace!

you’re right. I kept forgetting to post. All Are one is NOT an E.P. the E.P that Josh was talking about was Stayte and Stayte are the ones coming out with the full length CD. I got them confused. Sorry!

Heh, at first I thought your typo was an insulting pun.
“Stayte? More like Stayle! Am I right or what?”
I like the new songs, but I’m a big Stayte fan. While it still doesn’t sound like “classic” RevCo (it’s not, so naturally it wouldn’t) it’s a lot closer than “Cocked & Loaded” - these guys remembered that RevCo is supposed to have a groove.
Do we know yet if Luc and Phildo are going to be on this album?
One of the new RevCo songs stated each contributor’s name -it sounded like Lady Monster’s voice. Luc Van Acker was definately one of the names stated, and if I remember correctly, Phildo was also.
