I just wanted to say that I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where cool music wasn’t exactly readily available. When I went to college in Florida in 1991, I discovered Ministry and became a huge fan, seeing them perform several times.
All the while, I thought how cool it would be if Al and the gang played at Sloss Furnace. Finally, there’s going to be a show there (maybe there has been in the past and I never knew about it). Sloss Furnace is an abandoned haunted steel mill near downtown. It’s creepy as hell and I always wanted to see Ministry there.
I live in Atlanta now, and I’m totally stoked about making the trip to Birmingham to see the Sloss Furnace show. I haven’t been there in many years, but I understand that Birmingham has a pretty cool, but small, music scene nowadays.
Thanks for making the show that I’ve always wanted! I’m sure it will be as great as I imagine.

Dood. We have so got to hook up. I’ve thought the same thing forever. I live in Decatur. I’m going to the Atlanta, Birmingham and New Orleans shows. Maybe we can hang out. =)
