Now this band Jan Hammer is a classic.

In 1999 I scored an incredible UK Hip Hop album called Padlocked Tonic by a group called Parlour Talk on the Acid Jazz label…anyway one of the tunes “Another Price To Pay” always stood out for me due to the sampling in it.

Not long ago I discovered where that sample came from courtesy of local House producer hero Fudge Fingas…it came from cult band The Jan Hammer group. The original tune is a real beauty.

By the way…the original tune is called “Don’t You Know” from The Jan Hammer Group’s 1977 album Melodies.
