The internet is freaky. I wanted to check the Everyday is Halloween demo out that was discussed on here so I went to the main Prongs page to find it. On the way, I noticed that the Maleko(sp) Heavy Industry website is hosted here. I heard of the Assmaster and Paul’s involvement to so some extent, so I decided to check it out. As I was browsing through the website I noticed that the address of the company is posted and it is just down the road from me (relatively). For grins, I go to Google and do a map search to see where it is. Then I see the street view thing so I give that a shot. Next thing you know I am looking at someone’s house! Whose house it is, I have no idea, and don’t really want to know. As it is I feel like a stalker for even looking. I almost want to take a shower and wash the feeling off… Yes, the internet is scary.
google maps is scary too.
maleko is in a light industrial park, or whatever those things are called. afra mentioned he’d been there when he was in austin. i’ve been once.
don’t know what’s done in house or outsourced. send a message.
everyone over there’s pretty cool.
and the website’s outstanding in it’s… uh, humour.
I didn’t know it was hosted here. Afra is a hell of a wingman when it comes to hosting, not only Prongs but he also hosts the Litany/Skinny Puppy fan forum, as well as Godsend Online’s Skinny Puppy ‘Brap’ discography.
Maleko’s site as well as Flowering Blight’s site was done by Paul’s brother. I need to hear his latest albums…
NICE!
i sense an affinity for chicks and speed from this fine portrait here !

Oh yea? How’s he doing these days?

That is hilarious.
Roland is in Hawaii now apparently doing lots of web design, music, and gardening. More power to the guy.

I need to buy some of his albums when I get a chance.

WIN.
That’s cool. Do they manufacture the pedals there also or do they outsource it? I’m sort of interested in that sort of thing because as you may or may not know I dabble with laser show software & hardware and have considered making parts and accessories on the side. Right now I have a little machine shop in my garage so there is nothing stopping me I guess. I should write to Maleko and see if they would like to design a pedal that shoots out laser beams. I could probably help with that. hehe. “This distortion not enough for you? How about this laser beam in your face!” ZAP!
It’s all fun and games until someone burns a cornea or retina.

re: The Price is Right
Paul’s showmanship is second to none; versatility, charm, effortless cool.
He should have hosted the oscars too.

Although you won’t be able to see it, you may be able to feel it when it burns your exposed skin. (Class IIIb and IV.)
I love that on Roland’s personal page the bulletpoint for “played in my brother’s band Ministry” is well over halfway down on his sheet. Roland comes across like a cool guy on his site. I’m going to order some of his music and see what I think. Looks kind of New Age-y.

I agree, kind of like Wempathy when he was like ‘joined a band’, class acts both those guys.
