There’s something about Ministry boards and multiple accounts per user, I don’t get it.
Afra can attest to this - on the Piss Army board, before it went down, he spilled the beans and revealed that a metric shitload of the accounts on the forum were through one user, that guy who dated the English red head. Can’t remember her name. It was hilarious because it was pathetic; very protective of all of Al’s current work which, we all know, wasn’t stellar, and it was under the guise of multiple fans.

Aaaah The Piss Army Board. Such a hive of scum and villainy. Never seen so many individuals trash each other in such style like I saw there. I signed up but never posted. Never once. It was all too much…even for me. I just didn’t know where to jump in.
One day somebody will write a book about that place. My guess is it will be called something along the lines of : War And Peace And People Fucking Flaming Shit In Monster Style.
For some reason, whenever I think of The Piss Army I also think of The Toxic Avenger.

I went on the Piss Army once, in it’s early days. never again.
I would have never opened a PA account if the venue in Ybor hadn’t closed shortly after the 2006 Ministry tour was already booked.
I loved the Piss Army.
I’ve met so many great people through that place, several of whom are my absolute best friends (I even best-manned at one of my fellow Pissants’ wedding).
There were also some douchebags, but the good far outweighed the bad.
I found it unreadable. I’m not even sure I had a real account there. I think I just lurked occasionally.
I do think it’s funny that Al commissioned the new RevCo to write a Piss Army song, but shut the boards down shortly before it was actually released. Whoops!

I thought Piss Army was ok myself, some serious arseholes at times, but i can’t even remember them now.

I don’t remember if it was me, honestly. I vaguely remember the name, and it is random enough to be something I might have done. If it was one of mine, it wasn’t a character I really used much or developed into anything of substance. I had several characters on that board and don’t and can’t recall them all.
Notably . . . GoldTooth and Enrique were my two MVP’s.
When the PA died I kind of lost interest in doing characters. It just takes up a lot of time and, also, I’d always forget their names and/or passwords.

It wasn’t just one.
There were a few who were the most passionate about the asskissery, but it was spread around quite a bit. And, yes, there were some people who would make a crap ton of fake accounts.
I had no issue (and never will have) with the people who were passionately defensive about all the nu-Ministry stuff . . . . if they were consistent. And a few (one was alluded to earlier) really were and I respected that.
What I found revolting were the people who, while they thought they had Al or Angie’s ears or eyes, would kiss ass up and down and praise every piece of nu-Ministry or 13th Planet dookie . . . . . yet after it all fell apart and they finally realized they weren’t going to get that sticker pack or high five from Al, suddenly decided that it actually was all shit after all.
