Fantastic track! LOVE it!
Love this song!!
Good one for sure.
After 5th listens…this is really good. Many different things going on in this one. A dark feel for sure.
I don’t particularly like pre-Twitch Ministry, but I think this is a pretty cool track too.
Probably not $175 cool, but . . . . it’s a nice track.
The saxophone is killer here, probably the best use of a saxophone apart from Cannibal Song.
Also, this track is another reminder that Al can actually sing.
I wonder why it wasn’t released. It’s probably one of the best pre-Twitch Ministry songs I have ever heard.
he likely thought it wasn’t the direction he was wanting to go with the wax trax singles. Not nearly the same sound as Halloween or All Day. Though Wait would have fit in perfectly.
Be sure to check out this page on the prongs site, it has the lyrics for this track and most of the others.
Pretty fucking cool
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like that sits pretty well with “I’m Falling.” I love synthpop Ministry (and obviously industrial Ministry), but it would have been really interesting to hear them go further into post-punk territory.

Yeah, you’re right it does fit well with “I’m Falling” which was always one of my favorite of the really early Ministry.
I had a feeling of deep regret when I left not long after the basic tracks for this song were recorded because I really liked the song and the direction.
However, just prior to this it was agreed that the band would be smarter with the $$ and wouldn’t do foolish things like write in the studio, etc. But that’s what happened. Since I wasn’t an official member at the time (I refused to sign any contracts) I didn’t have much pull so my only recourse was to leave. It wasn’t the first time I left under similar circumstances…but it was the last time.
I like the sound of the bass. Even though its such a boring line it still sounds cool.
Good track, but I still wanna hear Self Annoyed.
Very nice track. Can’t wait for the rest…

Agreed on both counts. It’s a cool track, increasing the likelihood of me getting the Trax! Box.
Uncle Al’s getting some cash off this poor sap in 2015. Shelled out $70 for the Dallas show, I really wanna upgrade to VIP, now this…what $170? Well played, Jourgensen, well played indeed.
totally wasn’t expecting this sound. has a Siouxsie & The Banshees/Bauhaus sound to me. cool stuff, and certainly darker than anything else we heard from 1983.
this leads me to ask…are these from sessions prior to With Sympathy, or are these demos for what Al hoped to be the follow up to WS before ditching it and going for a more dance sound via his Wax Trax stuff in 84?

They were recorded after With Sympathy but before they went back to Wax Trax.
interesting. I wonder if that’s the direction he wanted his next album to be like, even if he were to be signed with Arista? Arista probably wanted another WS, Al didn’t, and that was that. But what if Arista said yes to this material? They had more $$ to promote Ministry than Wax Trax. Imagine that…
