i wonder now if al’s ill? seriously, no joking. with his history, maybe the old internal organs aren’t what they used to be. he’s looked and sounded a lot better, but not lately .

I’m just REALLY glad I didn’t bother to watch these videos until after I’d bought the CD.

Man. [:/]

i’ve seen al at his best and undeniably worst.this is worse than many years of bad. i’m in an unenviable position.

Al has become the eccentric old grandfather at the kiddie’s birthday party - amusing the littlies by performing ‘tricks’ like taking out his false teeth and screwing his face up while the children scream in delight.

The adults applaud, but secretly shudder at how sad a spectacle it really is!!

Shame really that it ended this way.

Even bigger shame that people are encouraging him.

Fawk… yer exactly right… I had the same feelings but wasn’t quite sure how to express them…

AL is like the old hippie/metalhead/druggie burnout that hangs out at hipster parties on college campuses with girls and boys that are half his age. On the one hand he is respected for still being able to party with the youngin’s but is still a living running joke on the dangers of excessive drug abuse. "Hey man, I’m trying to have a good time drinkin’ and smokin’ and maybe shrooming and whatnot and here is this old fart talking about the Illuminati and Timothy Leary and how he used to hang with William S. and that the Bush administration is rekindling facism and the NWO with the NEOcons at the wheel are taking over blah blah blah…

Yes, It is sad it’s come to this…

You picked that up from a 3 second clip of a 6 word sentence?

Yes! We ALL did.

You’re the only one who missed out!!

Silly boy.

Have you guys seen this thread…I think we all must have bogus copies of the album with completely different songs on it:

I mean, they freaking LOVE TLS. I haven’t seen that kind of enthusiasm anywhere over here. How is that we’re all Ministry fans, yet the opinions are so clearly divided? Is it just because Mrs. J posts there? I know a few of you guys also post over there, and I read a lot of the threads, but at times it seems like people are almost ‘afraid’ to be honest. There’s almost zero criticism to be found on PA. Are we that negative (or brutally honest), or is PA just plagued by vanity?

It is because criticism of Ministry is outlawed over at PissArmy.

That site is more heavily policed than the ‘police state’ than Al envisages America as under the Bush Administration.

What utter bullshit!!!

Are we talking about the same pissarmy here? Is preventing spammers and trolls what you’d regard as heavily policed?

Cos I’m telling ya, it’s a lot more lenient than other artists sites.

just read an interview with al

he’s in process of discussing a new pailhead with ian

the new revco album (called ‘got cock?’) is sort of half-finished

the new ministry covers album “cover up” in apr 08

also something about the revco covers album (??) “cover it up”

brace yourselves. new revco… OH NOES!!!11

Wow, new Pailhead? Amazing. I’ve been screaming for that for years. Then again, Trait was mostly LORAH leftovers, so I hope history doesn’t repeat itself, and we get TLS leftovers for this project. Here’s hoping Ian contributes heavily, and it sounds NOTHING like newer Ministry or RevCo. Exciting news there.

This is annoying, but I never can remember, was “I Will Refuse” aka “Stick” a RevCo outtake? I saw that Stick is on Initials C.C. (which I still don’t have), but wasn’t sure if Chris wrote it, or if it was a LORAH leftover, or a Black By Popular Demand castoff… Someone please set me straight once and for all.

I’m already dreading the new RevCo, just by title alone! Call me judgmental. Reminds me of those idiotic “Got (whatever)” stickers plastered on people’s rear car windows. Almost as bad as “Cowboy Up”. At the very least, Luc Van Acker NEEDS to be on this album to give it some true RevCo cred. Please Al, mix in a line-up change with this one, or you might as well just call it Ministry.

I noticed Mrs. J closed one of her posts with “There will be a Last Sucker Remix”, so get ready for another remix album, if that’s true. …and what the hell is a “dah-link”? Sounds like Doctor Who’s nemeses! [:P]

“Dah-Link” was a reference to members to remind them to post certain things via links…

There’s your answer, not as intriguing as your idea I’m afraid…

New Pailhead? OK. I wasn’t a huge fan of the original Pailhead, but it’ll be good to have something completely different from Al for a change.

New RevCo? Works for me, but then I’m one of the 6 people that actually liked “Cocked and Loaded.” Sure hope Josh is on it - his character was the highlight of the tour.

RevCo covers album? That’s… unnecessary.

Last Sucker remix CD? Please, Al, get more than two people to do the remixes this time. Variety is the spice of life, man - Rio Grande Dub was dull. Or better yet, put the multitracks on the web so we can all give it a shot. Some of the NIN fan remixes are fantastic.

Gila, do you have a link for that interview?

Didn’t she post here for 1 day or something? =P
I think we scared her away. Or offended her… =)

New PailHead…I’m so into that (love must of al’s side projects). I won’t hold my breath though, Al has said before something is in the works and then it doesn’t materialize. New cocks…I’m hopeful. New Lard…cool. Jimmy on drums but no mention of a Bass player. Mikey’s retired. :frowning: Buck satan will exist…cool but I’m not sure if his last recording as a country artist will hold true to me as I’m an anti-country music listener.[crazy]

A lot of info here…thanks for the link Gila.

right.new pailhead. i would guess there’s some fantasizing over there in el paso. i actually laughed out loud when reading that bit of maybe sort of perhaps in the future" news".ian mackaye probably( like everyone else )hasn’t personally spoken to al in years.if i’m wrong, i will admit my mistake here.
if i’m right, then how to approach any other “news” or al interviews .
and yes, i can tell from looking at and listening to al on yet another dumbass video that “el paso…we have a problem”.
