Anyway the other day I was listening to the Don Letts podcast and he dropped a great Dub cover of Led Zepplin’s “Whole Lotta Love” by a group called The Dynamics.
A few years back while at the Caves nightclub in Edinburgh a DJ dropped a brilliant Dub Reggae cover of the White Stripes tune “Seven Nation Army” that I’ve been hunting ever since…turns out it was The Dynamics too. They’ve even done a rework of Bob Dylan’s “Lay Lady Lay”.
I’ve already scored a few of the 7"s from discogs and noticed that they’ve got an album out that has a bunch of fantastic dubwise covers. The album is called “Version Excursions”…
