Yeah, I thought the same thing…all that work, and they’re gonna feel like an ass when somebody tells them. I did think it was entertaining, probably better than what they’ll come up with to promote the album.

A majority of them are morons. [/reply]
The majority of the people are morons; it’s not specific to the Piss Army. Don’t worry, you’ve got your quota on Prongs too.[/reply]
Hmm…I’m not one to post trolly negative comments, and I’ve been pretty positive about a substantial proportion of Al and Co’s’ recent output, but I have to say, with all sincerity, that a little piece of me died when I watched that video. Not just the video, the song too, since I never listened to any of the leaked stuff, and never got the album (probably won’t now at all.) I on’t know, maybe it’s to someone’s taste (is there anybody here who liked it? :D)
Oh yes, and ditto on people being morons. but fanboy sycophant morons can be a lot more grating than the regular kind.
I finally watched the clip and actually my reaction is somewhat positive…
What I always enjoyed about RevCo was that it had an entirely different vibe than Ministry. I was dissapointed with the new release because it seemed to serious and Ministry/Lard-like. This video definitely does relate to that old silly RevCo vibe that I missed on the record though. Its a completely different image and one that could actually appeal to some more mainstream audiences if it had the appropriate distribution.
So I guess what I like about this clip is that it captures the conventions of classic RevCo better than the actual album does. Its cheap, kinda pathetic and kitschy, totally un-serious but also pretty wacky and this is what RevCo always stood for!
