I assume the new Little Axe album is If You Want Loyalty Buy A Dog?? I know there was a live one released later which was recorded years earlier…regardless IYWLBAD was released a few years back now and I’m pretty sure I started a thread on it which I’ll try dig up. It is brilliant though. At On-U Sound 30th Anniversary show here in Edinburgh a few years back Adrian Sherwood did a set on the controls before Tack>>Head’s set…anyway he played a brilliant tune which I asked him about after the set…he said it was from the upcoming Little Axe album which didn’t drop for about another year…that album was IYWLBAD and the tune was “Keep On Drinking”. Absolutely massive tune and killer on a heavyweight rig.

Little Axe also just released a re-packaging of their earlier albums with a bunch of alternate mixes etc…I saw a blurb about it…I can’t remember exactly but I think it was all stuff from Wolf That House Built all the way to Hard Grind or maybe the one after that…looked like a cool set…I’ll check after work for the full details…

That’s probably the one. If you like this man and don’t have his last studio album If You Want Loyalty Buy A Dog…get it! It’s some of Skip & Sherwood’s best work to date.
