Tablature (Again)

Ok… So it never really took off so I’ll try it again. Here are some of the tabs that I’ve rustled up. I’m HOPING that the board will let me post this up here the way it is in the text files I have. If not then I’ll have to plop them somewhere for all of you to grab. This is by far not all the tabs out there and I take NO CREDIT for any of this work. This is just stuff out there on the Web. Would still really like to get our members who play to tab stuff out and to add a Tab section to the site. Who better to do it but us “elitists” as some of you call us, right?

Anyways… This is just an advance warning that the next two posts are going to be VERY long. One for the bass tabs I have collected and another for guitar. Can’t really post power tabs or guitar pro tabs on here, so deal with it. I’m going to be fiddling with these and tabbing it out how I hear it but feel free to make your own suggestions.

Afra? Maybe if you want to do a tab section you could do like they did over at toolshed.down.net and post up sections for albums and the respective types of instrument and let us all vote on what sounds or is deemed best until we can get the best tabs available? Just a thought.

it’s in D-drop sp you’re gonna ahve to tune your E string down 2 frets

the bass is not as easy to hear as the guitar so I have written exactly when the bass is

Following up my Stigmata tab, I just decided to go ahead and try my hand at this one.

Some of those “play this so many times” notes might not be too accurate, but they give a
general idea of how times they’re played.
I’m apologizing up front if they’re off by a bit, 'cause I don’t normally put notes like
that in any songs I tab, so (as this is my first time),
they’re likely not right. Sorry about that. x.x But even despite that, there’s only
three riffs to the whole song (discounting the intro), so it’s
really simple anyways…

I’m also not 100% sure about Riff C, but that’s as close as it sounds to me when I listen
through for a half hour straight on the same section… ¬_¬

Just lettin’ ya know to take it with a grain of salt.

Solo:

From what I can tell from the video, it looks like you play either a fretted seven on
the A string, or a five and/or nine on the e and B strings, respectively, and tremolo
pick a lot, sometimes breaking and sometimes playing. Sounds like there’s a lot of echo
and maybe some whammy or phaser or something in there to make that effect, too. It’s
just too blurry and I don’t have the pedals to work something out.

not one of my fav’s off the new one(mainly because it’s too long),
but it’s still pretty cool. I don’t know how i could compare it to
older stuff though, i’ve been a ministry fan for about a month(in fact,
i’m seeing them this thursday in Cleveland:) Anyway, this song consists
of 6 simple riffs. I can’t really give you the order though, the riffs
are so similar it’s hard to tab out the exact order for the riffs. As
in all songs made in the 90’s, it has a ton of effects, and it doesn’t
sound too good unless you have a band backing you or some cool
effects.The song is in standard tuning.

this is the order as i know: most of the time he alternates riff1 and
riff2, and he throws in a riff3 everyonce in a while.Riff4 is used when
he goes into or come out of a verse.(i consider the verse the part when
he’s singing). Riff5 is used when they have the sample going, and riff6
follows right after riff5.

That’s it. It sounds pretty much correct. The only area where I would say
it might be wrong is in “Breathe,” because I’m not really sure whether that
first chord is an E5 or if it should be a D5, which would necessitate tuning
down. I’ve played it both ways and find it kind of hard to tell the
difference. However, that’s the only one I’m not sure on. Enjoy.

Pretty fun song to bang n’ jam to, I even threw in chord names for those interested over
the lines (I’m not sure about the B5 (I actually don’t know what all the chord names are
besides Em… ^.^; ), so if someone knows the correct name, email me or the GT people and

This’s actually a pretty simple song, with one main riff and two other notes; just use
those two riffs over and over again where they’re supposed to be and you’ll get the
timing and arrangement easily enough, with a bit of practice. Now, I can’t figure
exactly what those other two notes are (guitar or samples), so this is the closest I
can come up with, two artificial harmonics that might get close to what they are. In
any case, the two chords sound about right, soooo… enjoy! =)

For the solo I just play lots of repeating riffs
in D - that’s a fair approximation to the Tony Iommi
lead. I wouldn’t try to copy it exactly; I couldn’t
do it justice, and I’m not into learning solos note
for note anyway.

As for the key, I learnt to play it in in Db (my guitar
was tuned way sharp for some reason), I think it should
be in D, but our bass player wants to play it in E.
Its a magic song which sounds good in any key

Well, Afra and I are talking about it now in earnest so I’ll let you know of any updates on that front if he doesn’t. Anything that you want to send I’ll be glad to play with and post up. Those are some REALLY great tabs for FP. Thanks man. I can LOOK at them and tell they are much closer on the money than most other tabs I’ve seen. And yeah, the bass tabs I posted were just various ones tooling around the 'Net. Like I said, I take no credit and most of them are HORRIBLY off. I’ll be plucking around with some stuff on my guitar and bass for awhile and trying to tab out a bunch of stuff.

Again, any help from ANY of you is appreciated on this front. Just trying to fill in the missing pieces to our ol’ website.

I’ll tell everyone now though, I’m not the greatest bassist or guitarist (no matter how easy the damn song is) so don’t hate on me when I decide to start posting my tabs as I don’t like playing in E, so I generally figure out how to play everything in Drop D.

I play my chords part slightly different, same chords different order. as far as the harmonics riff goes, yeah the first 3 strings are 12th fret (I play triplets rather than pluck twice) but then I go to
15th fret on the 2nd string pluck twice, 14th fret on the 3rd string pluck once, and 14th fret on the 4th string pluck once and repeat the riff (really just play that SHit to rhythm!

that’s the attitude of the many people who post shitty tabs out there. i mean no offence and nothing personal.

it’s just my opinion - if you want to post a tab, at least post the most correct one. because there are alot of newbies who only start playing and will play it wrong.

and there are enough incorrect tabs out there already.

and everytime i see some teen playing a song in a crappy way or wrong on youtube (i don’t know why do they even bother to record videos of themselves playing shit) it saddens me.

I think they are all fan made. I’ve never seen that kind of Tab book for Industrial… A bit bummed I didn’t see that on ebay sooner. I surely would’ve bid! Especially for that Harmonica solo they usually transpose stuff like that in mags like that!.

I found a copy of that TAB book and bought it for the mnistry songs the other day IT should come in the mail soon. I will Post the tabs from it when it does

In Filth Pig there is a spot on the music that says Harmonica solo but it doesn’t look like its been tabbed out based on how many notes are on the staff. will have filth done in avbout 30-45 minutes give or take.
