I remember when he became Senator here in 2004, and I saw a few stickers and shirts that said “Obama for President 2008”, I was thinking that would be very cool but didn’t think so as I thought this nation wasn’t ready for a Black President. I am glad to say I was wrong. The world will like the US again. Overnight.

I never thought Kerry would win - he was too weak. The only thing he had on his side was that he wasn’t Bush. You need something more than that.
But Obama’s won - look at any electoral map. He just needs CO and I think NV. Give McCain everything else but with those states, Obama wins.

You can buy stock in whether palin or biden get dropped as vp, Or if the us is in a recession? how does that work? it just looks like a sports line bet. how do you buy stock in a prediction not connected with a business?

Yeah it’s gambling, and I didn’t partake in it, but they’ve always been right about the previous elections (up to 1988). It’s interesting to see where a lot of these people are placing their bets. They’ve been very accurate so far on what states are going to who and by how much - I’m impressed.
Here is a map of it I did through the previously linked site. I gave every toss up state to McCain (OH, FL, IN, VA, NC, MO, and WV), except for NV and CO. I gave those two to Obama as “Leaning towards Obama” and he still wins hands down (you need 270 to win). He gets those two states and the electoral college will make him a winner and as you said, he’s getting them.
And I’m being very generous giving McCain FL and VA - Obama is leading in those states currently but let’s give a worse case scenario.
What kind of “october surprise” do your think McCain Will try to pull out of his ass? If I remember Correctly Dukakis had Elder Bush all but whipped until at the last minute Elder Bush pulled Willie Horton out of his ass to sink Dukakis…
Hopefully, When/if Obama is elected, these idiots, that shout out from McCain Crowds, “Cut his head off,” “Terrorist,” and “Treason,” Don’t shoot him!

But Obama has a lot on McCain that he hasn’t brought up yet. Obama’s waiting - he’s not an idiot. There’s a very good one he can use which he will I think if things get ugly. Also, Palin’s Church has done some controversial stuff…

Well I’ve heard the Ayers connections BUT I figured that was just so weak because they only sat on a board together, they weren’t “friends.” I thought perhaps they(McCain Camp) may have had something else. I’m only vaguely Familiar with Obama’s connections with a “Slumlord” but honestly, I’d only heard of that from Hilary during the primaries.
Rev. Wright is old news and I don’t think people care to hear about it again. PLUS, I would bet the McCain Campaign doesn’t want to bring crazy pastors back up especially when Palin goes to some crazy witch Doctor pastor. I just can’t beleive that McCain doesn’t have anything else…

the funny thing about the ayers connection is that o’bama and ayers were working together with republicans ,democrats and independents on a republican funded project- the Chicago Annenberg Challenge- for funding inner city schools.i got a bunch of emails last night about this.
