I already have a 9.2 setup for my home theater but this will bring listening to even a higher (separated track) experience. Around the 3:00 minute mark is I heard the difference. Neil Young recently created something like this too (PONO).
wtf Superunknown was my fav album of all time for real at a young age, but it’s not Dark Side Of the Moon…doesn’t seem like that kind of album that was even mixed to those specifications, are you sure it’s not some down-mix with added boost in the levels?

typically the logic is the music was mixed to be heard in 2 (or 2.1) environment. so “adding” speakers would be a simulation.
man, i’ve been out of the loop. freakin’ 9.2? I’m still at 5.1 and don’t really have plans to go any higher.
