Stupid Cunt's Thread of Toxic Discourse.

In an effort to not sqirt my idiotic emo-sauce all over the cool kid’s Robothreads, I suppose I will keep my comments quarantined in my own thread like a good little cum dumpster should.

This way those of you who actually may want to talk to me can without weeding through the asshat posts that disect my every word to insult me line by line . Thanks for the nice messages. Its great to know that there are actually some nice people on here.

Anyway, to the person who messaged me about what(stupid cunt is gonna let the name…drooooop) AL said about not playing music just for the love of music anymore, he said he has only picked up a guitar maybe twice in the last year and it was only to play “Girl with the far away eyes” by the Rollibg Stones. He loves that song. I told him that I am a big fan of Tool and he had lots if good stuff to say about Maynard and that he considered Tool to be the “Pink Floyd of our time”.

No I don’t mind if you talk that way but I’m not going to let them chase me off the board so I’ll answer you here.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! The booze really has mind f***ed Al. Thankfully he’s seeking help.

I take it you aren’t a Tool fan. Not everyone is but that’s ok. I personally HATE the Rolling Stones. ( And Twisted Sister… and Motorhead …)

Edited to include any band that uses the Cookie Monster pack on their vocals.

Good article about Les Claypool.

I never really got Tool at all to be honest, but i know people who absolutely love them. Nothing against them or anything, but they never really grabbed me. The Stones have some great stuff, but a lot of absolute bollocks, they probably could have stopped by the early 80s or put out half as many albums and they’d have a better hit rate, rather than the huge amount of uninspired filler they have in their catalogue.

I do like Motorhead though, not religiously, but Lemmy’s a cool bastard.

I’ve heard a lot of people say Lemmy is the shit. I guess I don’t like them because I went in a different direction with music back then. I drifted more into The Cure, Front 242, even stuff like Haircut 100 and Bahaus. Like I went away from the heavy stuff.

I like Tool because their music reminds me of symphonies. Lots of changes and variations. I’m sure Maynard uses some effect on his vocals but at least it actually sounds like his real voice.

And I really like ignorant moronic assholes so we should be besties.

Yeah, Motorhead’s not everyone’s cup of tea i suppose. I’ve always been more into straight ahead guitar action myself, more rock-type stuff. Maybe i’ll get into Tool at some point, they’re definitely great players and very original.

Who do you like?

First band i ever got into was Adam and the Ants when i was about 3 or 4. Then Gn’R when i was in primary school, it was just around when Appetite For Destruction came out. Loved U2 at that time as well. When i was in secondary school i got into REM, Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and a couple of others. I had pretty narrow tastes until i took acid and heard NIN. From there i got into Ministry, and it grew out from there. These days i still love Gn’R, my favourite bands are stuff like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Down, Mastodon, Danzig, i like Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Prong, Ministry and all their side projects, loved KMFDM up to a point, Killing Joke, Ramones. There’s probably quite a few i’m missing, but i have pretty basic tastes.

I play the guitar all the time, i just like stuff with good guitars mainly. I mentioned before on one of the other threads, the stuff i’m into’s nowhere near as out there as some of the stuff the other guys here like, really, i suppose a lot of them would find my tastes pretty pedestrian, haha. It entertains me anyway, i’m a simple man [:)]

I definitely went through my Seattle stage too. I loved Pearl Jam at the time. I guess I was a typical “New Wave” girl back in the day. Now I’m totally different. I listen to a little bit of everything (except country) . It really depends on the mood I’m in. Have you heard of the guitarist Buckethead?

Yeah, i saw Buckethead with Gn’R, he was pretty astounding, although i’ve never listened to any of his solo albums.

I haven’t had a chance to see Buckethead but I’d love to. Another guitarist I’d like to see is Jesse Cook. He is a classical guitarist and he is awesome.
